We have more depth at DE, but both our starting ends last season are now gone so it's a bit of an unknown. It'd be nice to stick a playmaker like Ray in that position. We desperately need some guys in the middle at DTs. In this class we have Crosby, Bennett, and Butler. It would be nice to add Conliffe since we will have a lot of young guys and with Tuttle/McKenzie injuries. We need to build quality depth at that position.

Gonna need just a little conformation on this GFW. It makes a big difference. What kind of salt are we talking about here. Regular old table salt? Sea Salt? Pink Himalayan Salt?

We need to land some combo of Ray/Sterling/Conliffe. It would suck to miss out on all of them. I hope we will know more after Butch's visit with Ray, but it worries me about Conliffe. These will be the two battles to watch as we near NSD.

No disrespect intended in any way, but I feel pretty confident Ray is going to go to Bama.

That said, imo Conliffe is a great DT prospect for UT's 4-3 DL scheme -- the additional puzzle piece for a solid defensive class that addresses needs well. Conliffe may even be able to play early. I hope y'all get him.

Yep. Allen and Barnett are both good comparisons. Ray can excel equally well in either scheme.

I agree that he is versatile and could play 3-4 end, but I think his BEST position, and the position he would make the most money in the NFL is 4-3 end.
