Malone raced Dobbs and beat him pretty easily.

Dobbs is 4.55 - 4.6 probably.
Which is plenty fast for QB.

Malone has 4.3 speed. I'm sure he could beat most people easily.

You could be right though. Dobbs just might be a guy who runs faster on the field than he does in shorts on a track. In terms of playing speed, he definitely looks as fast as Mariota.

He's a galloper. At the same time 4.55 isn't slow.
Dobbs isn't slow.

What you've mentioned many times now- ability to escape hard hits and pressure - will allow him to stay on the field and be productive.

Dobbs is going to surprise a lot of people...me included.

I don't remember him ever getting run down once he hit the open field. It may have happened at some point but, I just don't remember an instance. I remember on an interception or fumble in the 2015 season on about the 1 yard line he reversed direction and just about caught the returner before he got into the end zone and I think the game commentator noted it also.
To me he was always as fast as he needed to be and faster than anyone chasing him. Most people recognize that a players track speed often don't seem to match their game speed.
Go Dobbs! Whoever picks you up, it will give me a reason to start watching Sundays again.

Anyplace we can watch game if we don't have that channel?

Your local watering hole perhaps. I did hear on the radio today that it would be broadcast on ESPNU and NFL Network. But not sure if they were talking about the practice highlights or the game itself

Winner: Tennessee CB Cam Sutton (5’11”, 182 lbs)

Sutton was one of my bigger disappointments from the weigh in. He checked in with a disappointing amount of length and size in general. Wednesday was a great opportunity to rebound and Sutton showed patience at the LOS and physicality along route stems to harass receivers all the way down the field. His banner rep was a press man coverage rep in a one-on-one against a flexed O.J. Howard, where Sutton was able to jam at the line, flip his hips and cross the face of Howard to take away any chance of the reception.

They have both been great. Cam Sutton has been drawing rave reviews on ESPNU and NFL Network. Daniel Jeremiah couldn't stop talking about him.

And Dobbs has been getting rave reviews on Twitter. The consensus is he had another strong day and has been the best QB on the south squad by a healthy margin. Davis Webb from Cal who came into the week with more hype has struggled with accuracy. Dobbs on the other hand has drawn praise for not only his arm strength but also his accuracy. He's been on target on almost all his throws thru two days of practice.

Killa Cam killed it today. Was arguably the best player on the field for the south team.

He made himself alot of money. I'm now betting he gets back into that first round discussion. He was that good.

He would have to run sub 4.4 for that consideration. He doesn't posses that.

He's a 3 rounder. Maybe 2nd with a flawless workout

What makes you think he can't run sub 4.4?

Cam is very explosive. I'm not saying he will definitely run in the 4.3s but it is possible.

After two days of practice, Dobbs is getting buzz as the best QB on the south roster by a pretty decent margin.

Among the players who did stand out on the field…

Josh Dobbs--The Tennessee quarterback put quite a bit of distance between himself and the other two South QBs with a very strong performance in the breezy late afternoon. He was comfortable moving in the pocket and keeping his eyes up, and his throws were the most on target and showed real zip. It’s not that Davis Webb or Antonio Pipkin were bad, but they were inferior compared to Dobbs.

Cam Sutton highest ranked DB at the senior bowl according to PFF. https://twitter.com/PFF_Vinnie/status/824686057383927809

I'm calling it right now. Cam is going in the 1st round. As long as he runs in the low 4.4s at the combine, someone will take him in the first round.

Not that I'm not all for Sutton doing great but as far as this particular assertion you're making is concerned exactly how does the comparison being made entirely on Senior Bowl participants extrapolate to overall draft status? How high are the draft rankings of the other DB's?

A good showing can do nothing but help Josh or Cam but we aren't exactly making direct comparisons to the highest rated players in the upcoming draft.

Dude you have no clue what someone with 4.3 speed looks like. Tyreek Hill thats whats it looks like. Id be suprised if cam ran below a 4.5. You throw 4.3 around like its nothing and saying dobbs is faster than mariota dear god do you even live in reality?

Didn't Randolph run 4.3 last year at his pro day?

I don't think anyone had him pegged as a burner.

I think Cam runs 4.4 but him running 4.3 wouldn't shock me. I've seen guys run much faster or slower at the combine than most expected.
