For those interested, Cam and Dobbs had their measurements taken at the Senior Bowl today.

Tennesse #Vols CB Cam Sutton is 5110, 182, 828 hands, 2928 arms.

Josh Dobbs lean 216 and 6032. Looks like a volleyball player. Hand size 938

With that many hands and arms, no wonder he is a shut down corner...

Question. I don't live in Knoxville (or Tennessee for that matter), but I would like to listen to Vols radio/podcasts. I listen to Swain Event on TuneIn Radio during the morning commute, and I used to listen to RTI on the drive home. What's the best alternative for the 4:30-5:00ish time frame? What about during the day? Do you guys have a best radio show lineup? (I have listened to Ainge's show @ 9:00a some, too).

Thanks Rednex!

Basilio has the best show. It's not for some people but it is definitely the most entertaining and it takes a fan perspective. He has lots of great guests and cohosts.

The next best show is sportstalk on 990 from 3-7pm. The callers can be a bore but they bring information and cover the SEC and do some national talk as well. They have some good weekly guests that come on for a segment each week. Hubbs for one. They also have a guy from Houston who covers the NFL for an hour each week. They have Mike Keith on for the Titans/NFL once a week as well if you like the Titans.

Swain is not good radio and his cohost is annoying as it gets.

Josh Ward and Will West have a pretty good format and it isn't a bad show. It's on the animal as well.

Doc and Heather is not a good show. It is sad that it is a drive time show here in town. Doc is the production manager or something so he has the morning show.

I enjoy Swain and also 3 & Out, which is on at the same time as Swain on WKGN which is also available on in the TuneIn app (I will say, though, that Houston Kress can be so whiny sometimes it's annoying).

If you've got time to listen to something from 11-1, Basilio is pretty good. I know that some people don't like him, but I think he genuinely cares about Tennessee fans and that he, like the fans, just wants UT to be elite.

As far as afternoon goes, I don't think any of the options are that great. There's "The Drive" on WKGN (same as 3 & Out) and there's Rocky Top Insider on the same station as Swain and Basilio. Both are OK, but not great, IMO.

Now, I tried one time to listen to the News Sentinel Sports page, which was cancelled on the station that carries Ainge's new show and now airs right after Basilio. Man, it was some kind of new level of awful. I can't believe WVLZ picked them up.

I find it interesting that Gilbert basically hired Tyndall from Southern Miss. and now he is going there. I am still not sure that UT knew anything about the imminent investigation, but it is interesting nonetheless. Maybe they are paying him back for taking Tyndall off their hands.

Thanks guys. I don't LOVE Swain's show, but occasionally it is nice to hear from a player perspective. Same with Ainge, and I probably like his show a little better. I enjoyed RTI but they went to podcast only at the beginning of the year.

I have heard Basilio a time or two, may need to check it out more. Will check out Sportstalk 990 too.

Thanks!

Did any of y'all hear Tuberville this morning on the first team on Sirius? He said a lot of cool stuff about young coaches, ADs, staff etc.
Long story short, he talked about Barry Alvarez and how great he's done in all sports for Wisconsin. Says it takes an ad that knows sports and what it takes to be successful rather than a "corporate" type person.
Just made me think of Fulmer, and how good he could be for UT as ad. Just sharing.

You know what really grinds my gears?

The younger sports journalists' obsession with the Bachelor is horrific. 90 percent of your audience doesn't want to see your thoughts or your references to that dumb show. Just admit it's your guilty pleasure, which makes you a little bit lame, and move on. No reason for Clay Travis, et al to try to bring it to the forefront to try to make it ok. Your. Audience. Doesn't. Care. About. The. Bachelor.

Not saying its a HUGE deal but thats on the small end for NFL qb hand size. Average is 9.6. Especially for a guy his height. Brees and Russell Wilson are both over 10.25 i believe.
