Ukraine II: The Fight Against Russian Aggression

Putting the fraud and bankruptcies aside.

Anyway, probably not enough interest for its own thread, but what's going to happen to that Gambian strong man? His replacement just got sworn in in exile.

If he was committing Fraud, the SEC would of gone after him a long time ago. I also think the Trump University thing was an absurd joke. He didn't really run that business. He just had his name slapped on it.

He is one of the few people in this country who come out ahead in bankruptcy court.

The only thing I can tell you is that you're overthinking this.

If what I understand to be true is indeed true, heads are going to roll at the FBI. Will be the biggest scandal in that agency's entire history.

Isn't Comey going to get canned? The DOJ really got in the way during investigations of the EPA, IRS, Secret Service, and many other agencies.

I imagine he will always have to face legal consequences for his tenure no matter what.

If any of this turns out to be true, which I'm highly skeptical any of it is, I hope heads do roll.

I know, hog. I tease you relentlessly, but I know you do truly care. We'll need men like you to help lessen the unrest that it will create. You've just gotten a cynical streak in you that needs to be put out. And I aim to do so.

Anyhow, it will sound like I'm simply trying to cover my butt, but if this doesn't turn out how I think, then we should all be very scared.

It potentially means that not only is Trump in collusion but so is our intel agencies, which have long been rumored to have been deeply penetrated by Russian moles, particularly the NSA.

Oh.

Trump Team Leaves Germany Out in the Cold

The German government, however, has struggled to establish contacts with Mr. Trump’s team. Decision makers in Berlin have largely been left to read the tea leaves in Mr. Trump’s campaign rhetoric and his recent interviews with the European press.

Instead of expressing his concerns through private diplomatic channels, Mr. Trump has publicly dismissed NATO as “obsolete,” threatened German carmakers with a 35 percent tariff and predicted that other nations would leave the European Union.

Ms. Merkel’s team has given up any pretense that Mr. Trump might become more statesman-like once he enters the Oval Office.

“None of us here believe that anymore,” a source in the chancellor’s circle of advisors told Handelsblatt. “The Americans, and the world, will get the Trump they elected.”
. . .
Mr. Heusgen said his initial conversations with the Trump team gave him the impression that they have little understanding of the European Union and how it operates.

Ms. Merkel’s cabinet is resting its hopes on retired Marine Corps general James Mattis, Mr. Trump’s pick for secretary of defense, as a voice of reason within the new U.S. administration. Mr. Mattis is well connected in Europe and views NATO as an anchor of stability.

What a world we live in.

What a world we live in.

You mean, Trump knows that the European is imploding due to countries losing their sovereignty and is just going through money like we go through toilet paper. This same EU who is handcuffing every single member with regulations? The same EU who is growing at the slowest rate in the world which is 14% since 2008.

The EU is the biggest failure I've ever seen in my lifetime. It's literally layers and layers and layers and layers of beaurcratic nonsense that nobody understands. Not even Jean-Claude Juncker. Who is the most powerful person in the EU.

How old are you?

Incidentally, Germany has the fifth largest economy in the world (larger than Russia). Nice that it's being ignored by our government.

Since Germany owes it's very existence to the US and it's Merkel's policies that are killing Germany, maybe it's Merkel who needs to do a little ass kissing.

AP quoting the Russian Defense Ministry in that Russian and coalition jets flew their first combat mission together in Syria, interesting times.

Reports that US coalition aircraft have flown combat ops with Russian aircraft for first time in Syria.

If true, not surprising now.

Russia rapes your democracy one day, and then you're flying combat ops to assist the Kremlin the next.

That's a recipe to the quick road to becoming a permanent victim.

American democracy is now open season for all the Chinas, Russias, North Koreas, and Irans of the world.

Welcome to Trump World.
