lots of people are angry. but, those are the ones that shoulda gotten off their asses and voted.

and yes i do firmly believe Michelle would make a great candidate. Not only is she a dynamic speaker, she's likeable...connects with people, she's intelligent, qualified (as much as Trump), and as a very capable female who happens to be black she can carry the vote. She is talented, and people actually like her.

you can laugh. we'll see. maybe im off base.

I don't understand the desire for political family dynasties. Didn't need another Bush. Didn't need another Clinton. And certainly don't need another Obama.

Aren't there enough people in this country that we can find somebody else?

So in this thread, for the next four years, we will keep a running tally of lies we categorically conclude have been told by Trump. Not arguments, not nuanced policy things. Outright fabrications.

And we begin with

# 1 The Russians were not behind the hacking, and he has proof.

This is categorically a lie. No question about it. Objectively, he lied when he said that.

Things like build a wall? Too soon to know. Mexico will pay for it? That gets closer, but he's trying to create some wiggle room now by adding in the "later." So we will have to wait and see.

So as of today, January 12, 2017, we know for a fact it is one lie. I will revisit this thread over the next four years, and we will keep a tally.

This is past ridiculous and becoming boring. Never seen anyone so fixated on another person. I like discussion but these daily attacks are depressing. I am out.

I do believe that it may be a calculated strategy on Trump's part. He is trying to create an environment where no one really knows truth from fiction. If there is not agreement among a critical mass of the population about what is true, then nothing and anything can be true. We are getting precariously close to that point already. (If this board is any indication, then God help us all)

The obsession exhibited on this board over Michelle's appearance, Obama's religion, Obama's transcripts, Obama's birth certificate, Obama's sex life, and every other thing that didn't actually matter over the past 8 years is no different than this.

What a crock.

I agree. I have embraced the meltdown. And will enjoy it for some time to come.
