Well, here's hoping that Scott is an aggressive, unpredictable play caller who puts the ball in the hands of our best players and that Canales is a phenomenal developer of QBs.

Now that Canales and Scott is official, what does that mean for Mahoney, Wells, Hoke, and Stripling?

Mahoney and Wells same role-for now, after NSD Wells will take mahoneys spot

Stripling will either remain and get an extension or remain in a reduced role and we will hire Hoke.

Cool thanks. So azzanni and Thig staying then too?

I wasn't commenting on how well they played. Your statement was that the program is doomed. As long as there is talent there we aren't doomed.

I understand what your saying. But if you get the talent and it's wasted, then you continue to swim in mediocrity. I'm like you, I want All departments inside UT to strive. But they have got to bring in the best staffs for that to happen. I don't want to see the empire that Pat built to become stale. It should be thriving and it's not.

Tennessee is using the search firm Turnkey for their AD search. The one tie there is that Gene DeFlippo is a part of that firm and he is a long time friend of Phillip Fulmer.

Tennessee also formally announced their search committee. It's the names Jimmy Hyams had earlier in the week.

Jimmy Haslam
Charlie Anderson
Donna Thomas
Don Bruce, facility rep
Raja Jubran
Peyton Manning

Obviously the chancellor and the president will be involved making it an 8 person committee.

"We won't stand for this behavior and will send a strong message to this young man and anyone else that commits heinous and despicable acts. He will take a red shirt Year to work out, study the playbook, and attend class. That'll learn him. We may look at reducing that punishment down the road to simply sitting out a quarter of the first game. I mean he was only driving a car. He didn't actually Rob anyone." - Bob Stoops

You forgot part.
