There's a poster in the FF literally going on about the kinda car CBJ drives. He deserves plenty on criticism but come on dude!

But, but, but VN thought so, therefore it must have been......

Go check the first ten pages of his thread. The kid was all UT.

He may not have named a leader. To my knowledge he never named anyone leader but it was obvious we were in the driver seat early.

Not that it matters.

Whose place is it to "fight" for their team? Do they not have coaches? Many times, referees are not being well paid or are doing it for free. Not to mention, that in the long run, getting kicked out of a game or getting "T'd" up could be harmful for the team. Also, one story was from middle school. That is not 16 or 17 year old competitors (at least, I hope it isn't). There will always be some bad calls. There are also ways to speak to officials to try to get them to see it your way. That is also not to say that incompetence or assholiness should be the standard. But, there are many more times that players think that they are right, when they are not.

You got a point.

Thank you for proving my point. You talk about how there is no "plan and no direction" when truth be told...you,me, or anyone (media especially) are making it obvious that they have no clue what's going on with search or lack thereof. Could it be a bad thing?...sure. But no one knows for certain but vol fans always love to paint everything like it's a disaster.

I think you didn't get what I was sarcastically saying..I am saying that is your point.."Nothing to see here, move along"

Meanwhile, Blackburn and Fulmer both be like:

Neuheisel and Childers just drilled Tennessee on the drive. Said hire Fulmer today. Neuheisel said there are "lifers" in UT's athletic administration that are the problem. That Tennessee needs to focus on fixing the football program as its 1st priority. Maybe this is what he was talking about that was holding Butch back before Bristol, these "lifers" strangling our program.

Just like I said, bad publicity is still publicity. They are going to run this program into the ground. And there is NOTHING we can do about it. Once again, my beloved University is the laughing stock of CFB. Seems like it's every year.

Hopefully Peyton can talk some sense into these other idiots. What do we do as fans- send emails to everyone saying what an embarrassment this is or do they even care at this point?

Mike Bohn was forced out at Colorado, where the administration doesn't even care about sports. Hiring him would be the most Tennessee thing ever.

It's been interesting to read lately all of the arguments against hiring an OC or QB coach without experience in those positions and then reading all of the arguments for hiring someone with no AD experience. Seems to boil down to the people involved more than their actual qualifications.

Davenport can't complain about fans wanting orange blood because it's "too close to the university" if she's going to hire her AD from HER OLD SCHOOL

I'm with Kingston Vol. I don't see the big issue with there not being an AD named right now. I'm amazed at just how many people on VN are so bent out of shape on this.

Would you complain if your kid's teacher just sat behind a desk and didn't teach them anything for a full school year?

When rival programs (UF, Bama) hire their replacements in meer hours and we've known about this vacancy for months it makes us look inept. Couple that with the lack of stability with almost every sport and it doesn't paint a good picture to prospective student-athletes, potential coaches, boosters, etc.
