You people suck...at life. How dare you continue to tell me I look like I'm from anywhere in Alabama.

I am from Memphis, I am currently in God's country. Good lord.

sorry to jump on this late (I havent browsed this thread in forever), but congratulations. I saw some of your later pics and thought, "wait, i thought vader was a bigger dude." Then I went back and saw this post.

I know you said you did the NutriSystem thing, but I was curious what kind of exercise plan you used. I've been really big ever since I was like 5, and I've finally started cracking down to do something about it. I was wondering what helped you have so much success. Congrats again man...:good!:

Thanks, man.

I haven't gone as "hard core" with my exercise as I did the diet. I dropped 30 pounds or more before I did any real exercise.

I haven't done a huge running regimen or anything like that. I have done little things like parking further away on purpose and taking the stairs more. I take my dog to the park a couple of times a week.

About two months into my weight loss, I started taking Karate (American Kenpo). I have been taking that for about 8 months now. That is a pretty good workout, especially when you spar.

Other than that I have been doing push ups and ab work. I keep saying that I want to step up my weight work so people like Volmania will still not want to mess with me :), but my schedule is pretty darned full right now. A few weeks ago, I bought a pair of "perfect pushups". I have really liked those and I can tell a difference from using them.

I was always a big guy since I was a kid, too. I had a couple of periods in college when I was in OK shape due to insane weight and running routines, but I was never able to maintain due to very poor eating habits. I only regret that I waited this long to do something about it.

Well Nation, the cat is finally out of the bag... Prepare yourselves...

Wow! Niiiiiiiice. You're husband is a lucky man. :shades: Nice photography too, by the way. Superb lighting. Did you hire a professional?
