It's obvious at this point that our administration/big donors are counterproductive to the success of the athletics department. Can't fire benefactors, though.

I didn't post it without thinking twice about it. It appears Basillio is concurring on all this... Media knows nothing, but I didn't post it willy nilly.

How many times do people with an audience have to guess wrong before we stop jumping off cliffs when they hit send?

Not blaming anybody, by the way. Just saying in general.

It's a vicious cycle. Haha

You weren't wrong to post it. Like it or not, it's a Tennessee "source" with some following when Tony B is involved. Might as well see what the word is everywhere.

A few weeks ago it was Blackburn, done deal, a matter of days or maybe weeks.

Then it was Fulmer, done deal, a matter of days or maybe weeks.

All I've learned is I don't believe anything anymore -- except that our administration and those in positions of influence are startlingly incompetent. That I definitely believe.

Thank God Dobbs was a terrific athlete or there would have been a much bigger hole at the position.

If Our QB coach does nothing else except make out QBs better than it's a win.
It's the most important position on football.
Get a guy who can spot mistakes, correct the mistakes, teach and make improvements.

Weinke hasn't done that with any of the names he's coached

He helped trained Cam Newton, Teddy Bridgewater and Russell Wilson....

While I agree that running with every rumor is probably not the most reasonable thing to do, we don't need insiders to know that, considering how long they've known there was going to be an opening, this hire should have already been made.

There is no explanation for this dragging out until spring other than incompetence.

Yep. I am willing to make large wager that LWS pops in here saying there has been a delay.
