Not a good example considering how Michael was one of the greatest athletes and Welker made his living off out working people and outsmarting people. Welker would likely be a dang good coach. Lots of film study etc with Peyton and Brady. He couldn't just be better than people on athleticism
Is he the best slot receiver in the business? I'd say yes.
Regardless, the point was just because you can play doesn't mean you can coach.
