Not a good example considering how Michael was one of the greatest athletes and Welker made his living off out working people and outsmarting people. Welker would likely be a dang good coach. Lots of film study etc with Peyton and Brady. He couldn't just be better than people on athleticism

Is he the best slot receiver in the business? I'd say yes.

Regardless, the point was just because you can play doesn't mean you can coach.

Because of a game not this past season, but the one before that?

Most of the difference makers from that game are now gone. That game was a snapshot in time. A great game, but not a litmus test of where the program is at now.
