I'm with Sarge the SEC is so quick to defend it's bell cow that it doesn't care if the rest of the conference srruggles. Its completely obvious to with the way the refs call games.

I agree that there is obvious bias. But they are still the best team in the SEC and it isn't close this year. What is it about Saban that makes him the best? Does anybody doubt that if Meyer and Saban switched places that it would be Ohio State in the game tonight?

No one questions him. Does anyone go against him for more than 2 seconds? He has free reign over everything he does and no one will tell him otherwise. To Alabama he is up there right next to God.

I understand all of that. Still doesn't explain how he beats everyone on the field. Ohio state, USC, LSU, FSU, Clemson, GA are all talented. None of them win like Saban does

Don't understand why the university doesn't realize that better athletics=$$$$$$. You would think that money would be a huge priority that they would want the best program in football. That doesn't seem to be the case tho

Gotta be some strange accounting practices going on there. Or they are reinvesting their money straight back into the university/AD.

That was a one year window and I don't trust that article to be accurate. There's too many items that can be recorded differently or money moved around to be accurate.

Makes it seem even worse that we can't have a top tier program. Everything is there. The door is wide open.

There is absolutely nothing in the state of Alabama. All they have is college football. Mississippi would do the same if they weren't so poor.
