I think we need to replace him. Apparently Butch wants to keep Thig though because of his recruiting.

Seems like I read something the last couple weeks by Hubbs or someone that made it sound like he would not be encouraged to look elsewhere but that UT would not get into any kind of bidding war to keep him should other opportunities arise.

I'll support whoever wins the job. I'm biased, I prefer a DT QB because of what they add to the offense. But if JG isn't ready yet, so be it. My only concern is that Butch will give QD the job even if JG is better because QD has more experience or whatever like he did with Worley over Dobbs. Just give the best player the job is all I ask.

Me too..I just want the best guy to play. It would be a great idea to use them both(deer lord this makes me throw up in my mouth a little to say)like Urban did brilliantly with Leak and Tebow.

Sorry...but simply cannot agree with this....

Sumlin and Freeze have gotten Ws against Bama, true enough...but they HAVEN'T lost to SCe and only Freeze has lost to Vandy this year with a true freshman QB on the road and a decimated D.....

and both have beaten CBJ head-to-head....Freeze beat the crap out of us....and took both FSU and Bama down to the wire this year.....

And both have beaten the Barn, Arky, etc...etc.....

Ole Sis did have that bad loss to Vandy this year....

But--playing in the SEC west, beating us head-to-head, and victories over Bama and other good teams in the West (that we haven't been able to beat--Auburn, Arky, LSU--for Ole Sis--would be adequate reasons to conclude that those guys are better coaches...

The fact that you guys always leave out beating SC who finished 4th..pretty much shows your agenda. Summon needed a miracle, actually 7 of them and that's not counting how many good players we were down, to beat Butch at home in overtime. Freeze beat Butch in his second year when Butch was playing a bunch of babys and nobody's...I mean come on.

Which one? Was it that laCounte douche? His bs during week was ridiculous could have hurt Davonta Smith trying to be cool. No need for it. Seems like a potential dirty player regardless of how good he is.

Sad thing I just realized is GA has more 4* recruits committed so far this year than we do last year and this year combined. Butch slacking on the recruiting front and it will show. We will not be the favorite in the East much less the SEC unless CBJ makes some drastic changes.

That's my concern. Our hope is that Kirby is a terrible coach because they are recruiting like Alabama. Meanwhile Butch's recruiting has fallen off. Has a chance for a big one class in 2018, even more so that 2017, but if we don't win it won't matter

Lets be honest with ourselves here. Those players you mentioned are good players but they didn't have a whole lot of production...heck 3 of the ones you mentioned missed half of the season. Lets be honest, Dobb, AK, Sutton, Barnett, Malone those guys are going pro for a reason, yes they weren't 100% or the production, but ill say 90%.

They're recruiting well but no like bama. Bama and OSU are on different levels. Georgia is getting good players but not 5+ 5 star players like the two previously mentioned

Depends on the site. Don't use 247 composite and I bet that's not true.
