If he's the quarterbacks coach under Butch Jones? Yeah, he's bulletproof. Unless the QBs went out and took literal dumps on the field, Butch is getting blamed for anything bad that happens.

I would bet that, other than VFL support, there is absolutely no program role on the radar for Peyton. Peyton is all about "giving back" on a grand scale, imho, and won't be returning. Of course if he does., I will say it's the best thing since screw on moonshine caps.

Perhaps. I just think it's incredibly naive to think that Butch could hire Manning to coach QBs in 2017, and that anyone from the fans all the way thru the admin would blame Manning for any failings. If Butch were coming off a 10 win season, or an East title? Maybe.

There was a great thread either on here or the SEC Rant where a guy was asking why the site kept showing ads for a gay cruise. Needless to say, the replies were awesome.

I see Peyton jumping in with both feet.
I also see Lady GaGa being the new band leader.
I definitely see Bill Gates running the scoreboard.
And even though it's wishful thinking, I think there's a real shot at getting Gruden to do the play by play with Kessling and during breaks he calls into Butch's headset to offer advice.

Butch Jones or any other head coach would never allow this to happen. They would be calling for his head with every mis-step screaming for Peyton to take over.
