Not championing anything. Just pointing out how ridiculous it is to get torn up about hires that haven't even happened yet. But by all means, continue to overreact emotionally and allow situations to steal your peace.

Scott will be the OC and I am absolutely fine with it. Could end up being great.

No idea on QB coach. Lots of good options.

I don't know if the potential April-May timeline is legit, but when we are trying to sell stability to potential recruits and assistants, not having an AD until potentially after spring practice is going to hurt.

It's not. You can bet money someone on the inside and/or a booster (actually more like a corps of someones) has been gunking this up from the start. This could've been taken care of before Davenport was even hired. Players inside are the ones dragging this out and they'll continue to do so until everyone else caves. Someone doesn't like Blackburn personally and it shows big time.

I agree with all that. I just seen a couple of times people say that it's ridiculous that she wants to say in the proceedings

The Crazy thing here is that as a fan base we are blasting Butch for trying to find a fit for his offense and on other hand we want the new AD to be a Tennessee guy. Now i get it that DB is probably the perfect guy for this but we are being hypocritical when it comes to Butch.

Springbokvol, weren't you pretty confident Blackburn would be hired? What the crap has happened since then? Is this Davenport wanting to assert herself or some other idiots/boosters screwing this up? My goodness, it has been known for months that Hart was out- yet here we are. And for that matter, if Hart isn't "allowed" to do anything right now as AD and is just taking up space, then why is he still there- go ahead and leave. Why stay until the end of June? Yet another ridiculous move by the admin!
