In the 1st quarter he wished Mixon a long and good career in the NFL. Then later in the game he tried to "explain" himself by basically saying everyone gets a second chance but he was very aggressive about it and just made it sound even worse

Their starting QB did break his arm on the first drive. I think it would've been completely different if he could've played the whole game.
