If he thinks he can bandaid it, we will be waving goodbye this time next year. Go big or go home. He needs to get back to winning at recruiting and he's a great salesman. He just needs a new sales pitch. The team underachieved this last season and the world knows it. That makes his seat hot in the minds of some recruits where he likes it to be known or not. He can only use the injury thing for so long. It needs to be high profile staff upgrades that can bring some quality players and give them a recruiting energy boost IMO.

I drove through the entire state this past summer. I saw more corn and soybeans than I have in my entire life combined. I will say that the place where we ate in Iowa City was pretty cool.

Should be kept in mind that Petersen's player development is second to no one, and that a lot of the studs on his defense were poorly rated coming out.

He's getting highly rated players now.
