Obama to sanction Russia for hacking

You've provided conjecture and conspiracy theories, nothing more, let alone anything that would be remotely seen as traitorous. In fact you just come off as someone desperate to snuggle up to sedition.

I'll just assume you were talking to yourself here

Not just youths. Any and all who seek to destroy Europe.

Surrounding oneself with paid (on public record) Kremlin employees, including one at the National Security Advisor position, and nominating Putin's top American ally, all while siding with Putin publicly against our intelligence community and Democrats is far more than conjecture, sir.

You don't think this looks the least bit suspicious? Or, more likely, you just don't care.

The way Podesta fell for the scam says it isn't a government. A phishing scam is often used by hacktivist and criminals. A foreign country would be able to take down encryptions and throw off the victim using a VPN or something similar. Russia wouldn't leave a trace for the government. If they did, either they wanted the government to know, or they're no better than some of the 16 year olds out there. If Russia can do things like knock out the internet, why would they use a phishing scam on John Podesta? Why were emails from Podesta only released and not from the rest of the DNC? Russia could easily get every email from every member of the DNC quite easily.

The fact that the IT people in the US Government are behind the other foreign powers. The fact they made a conclusion so quick tells me two things: Russia is incompetent, or Russia is being used as a scapegoat. Our best and brightest work for private companies, not the government. It took them months to break an encryption on an iPhone.

I think it's bigger than Trump. I know Russia liked Trump's campaign, but not because Donald Trump is a traitor. Vladimir Putin hates the globalist forces that are trying to take over the planet like George Soros. He knew Donald Trump hates people like Soros, so that's why I think Putin was rooting for Trump. With that said, I don't think Russia hacked the DNC. I think it was an inside job with a disgruntled Bernie supporter. The Globalist hate Putin, and Putin hates the Globalist.

So once again, prove that Donald Trump committed treason, because that is a very serious allegation. All you said was Donald Trump likes Vlad, so he hates America. Being a smart guy, you know Russia was our ally in world war 1 and 2. It's only been in recent history that Russia is our enemy. Well, the cold war is over, and it has been over. Why can't we go back to a PreMcCarthy Alliance with them? The only reason why we didn't like them was because they were Communist.

Neither Russians nor myself could give a darn about communism. Geopolitics move on, even after communism.

If you think Vladimir wants to be your friend, you're gravely mistaken.

18 more days until America's first Russian president takes office.

18 more days until words and actions finally have consequences again.

And only 1 or 2 more days ("Tuesday or Wednesday") till we find out whether or not he and our intelligence community will be going to war with one another.

Just as I'm channeling my inner Frank Pierce, I'm also channeling my inner 69.

I'm enjoying life not having to think or articulate my actual thoughts to other human beings.

Lol. The dude is a retired 3 star Army General who was in charge of the Defense intelligence Agency (DIA) and put there by Obama... The only thing that should be of concern is that he is a democrat. Yet somehow you think that Trump picked him to be an adviser somehow manifests into some weird Kremlin love triangle because the dude had a consulting firm and was in Russia? I'm sure a guy who served his country for 33 f'ing years was turned into a Rooskie spy less than a year after retiring....

I thought the 9/11 people were crazy but they have been supplanted by the Russian conspiracy people. What do we call yall? Russianers? Kremliners? Nutjobs?

I think I get the disconnect from the left with the picks. See when a democrat takes office they fill positions with academics, aka people with no real tangible experience doing anything outside of teaching or politicking. Trump is putting in people with real world experience and guess what?.. That probably means they have been to places like China and Russia on business. Oh lawdy god forbid people with international business experience get cabinet positions in a world of globalization...

I've been to Russia so I most likely am a Kremlin plan in the FAA out to doom the national airspace system..

Take all the information I've provided about Trump and the Kremlin, and tell me why this is all legitimate.

You say things, but they mean nothing.

You should probably just stick to worrying about encouraging violence against Muslim youths in Europe, as you were wont to do about a year ago. Leave the big boy thinking to others.

You have provided no information other than speculation and accusations. Many, many Americans have had dealings with foreign powers and even have received awards from them. Including the person you voted for including her daughter, son-in-law and husband. Are they all foreign agents?

There will be no war between the President and the intelligence agencies, they work for him. They will either lay out their proof to him or not, then then the bosses either get replaced or not. You can't go to war with your boss.

This is seriously what you think about Michael Flynn? The guy who has been paid by the Kremlin to appear at functions applauding Russian state propaganda platforms, like RT?

Again, I'm not claiming any of these individuals went to Russian spy school, which is what some of you keep seeming to think I'm saying. I'm claiming they have interests beholden to an American adversary, that Trump - knowing this - is using them to return favors to Vlad.

I seriously don't understand what's so difficult to process about this.

Did any of those you site return favors for intrusion in an election?

Which you don't think that happened in the first place, so this conversation is absolutely pointless.

How's the search for Putin and Hillary's secret friendship going these days? I hear that Vlad has been crying a lot deep inside the bowels of the Kremlin, since his good friend, Hillary, lost the election.

I would agree with all of what you say here, that is, before Trump.

But, you may end up being correct. It will all come down to what these individuals care more about: cushy six figure salaries remaining intact or patriotic duty. Given the inadequacies of our intelligence community over the past decade or more, I'm not confident the right decision will be made.

Don't worry, Obama will get to the bottom of it

I never said they were friends, I said they were working for the same goal and big money bosses that profit off of a Cold War.

You're starting to figure out how these things work.

You're claiming we're idiot stooges for missing the plain truth of your conspiracies. We ask for proof. You make assertions that aren't proof. The conversation never goes anywhere.

Step 1 (short of proof) Stop talking about it until you either have proof, or you have enough humility to come back and apologize for being so high strung about something that never happened.

I will not apologize to a bunch of Trump and Putin apologists.

The thing you guys don't understand is that our intelligence community -whatever it may have done with WMDs, however it may have been politicized under Bush and Obama - it would never actually use disinformation to force the American public to side with one political party over another in an election.

To even think that that would be the case is the height of cynicism.

Oh, when it comes to our gov't, feel free to call me a cynic.

We'll talk again when you have the proof? Unlike you, I'll apologize for being wrong.

You said it's been heavily politicized, but would never cause disinformation. The Dems think Comey did just that.

Well, it's looking more and more like you made a serious misjudgment.

Regarding your other question about sanctions, I'm referring to the one's Obama made Thursday. It was basically a shorthand term for the expulsions, closures, etc. I suppose you could include the economic sanctions as well.

Obama and Putin have put him in a very difficult position. It's either negate all of Obama's actions to further return favors to the Kremlin or keep enforcing them (so as to avoid further public association with the Kremlin and the wrath of American lawmakers and IC alike) and then incur the wrath of Putin's kompromat, which, rest assured, he has a ton on Trump.

This isn't going to end well in any shape or form. And this is merely one aspect of a presidency that will be an absolute disaster, just as his electorship has been the most divisive and chaotic that I'm aware of in our nation's history.

I frequently apologize on here for being wrong. I'm one of the few who does so.

I will, however, never apologize to those who take the side of the Kremlin over our own intelligence community, including Trump and yourself.

Buchanan to Lincoln was more divisive and chaotic. I mean, we did end up with a civil war.

So all the sanctions amount to were the expulsion of 30 or so Russian diplomats? That's sure showing them.
