I am worried about DT.
Anyone that has paid attention to my posting will tell you. That is the #1 position for me.
Why should he be? OL is one of the areas where we see player development and improvement. Considering the fact that the players rave about Playing for Mahoney, I'm not so sure it's because of Debord either. And for clarification sake, I'm in the "Why get rid of Debord?" camp as well.
1. Revenue probably has more to do with Hart than Butch.
2. I said in my post that an 8-4 season wouldn't see Butch getting fired.

Hopefully both.Rewatching the game. Richmond had his best game as a Vol. He is coming on! Really did well in pass pro. Second, Kongbo! He is starting to get it. We have all be talking about Barnett, and rightfully so, but Kongbo was very disruptive in his own right! He played a heck of a game. Really curious to see if he plays inside or out next year
I thought u were crazy and we were fine there before the season started. Not perfect but definitely not a worry. Yeah that didn't work out so well. Still ridiculous the amount of injuries we had there though.
Too bad we didn't draft Warford from K instead of Warmack a few years ago. At 5 I hope we take best available or trade back. I think our needs right now are:
CB (multiple)
Deep threat WR
OG
ILB
But I would take Barnett at 5 in a heartbeat, need position or not
I thought we were pretty good, but after watching alabubbas DTs, I agree with you. Still think kmack will be at that level before he leaves and Tuttle too if he can get healthy. Need more of those guys.Even if we went injury free there we were not SEC champ caliber at that position.
We have got to do better recruiting that position.
You are right - we are dead on with each other. I can promise you and you already know it - Robinson is going to trade around, so they will end up different and better on their pick positions. But that is definitely the wish list. You always take great pass rushers early. Always. Game changers. You take game breaking WR's from about 7-35. When they are available you take d-backs later unless there is an Eric Berry on the board. Somewhere around 15 and back. We have LeBeau. He makes lemonade out of lemons. Look at the game today. Both CB's that started and played most of the season were out/gone. Only gave up 17 points. And lawd, was Sims bad today or what? Still had enough to get it done.
FWIW, Osweiler needs to start for Houston. That benching seemed to help him. Savage is not the man.
Rewatching the game. Richmond had his best game as a Vol. He is coming on! Really did well in pass pro. Second, Kongbo! He is starting to get it. Good observations. Kongbo helped DB. His effort forced them to play DB straight up much of the game. Personally I want to see him step right into DB's spot. Let Phillips and Taylor fight it out on the other side.
Richmond has control of LT. Some posters on here gave up on him too quickly.
I really wanted us to get a CB in the 2nd round last year and thought that was one area Robinson messed up, but after I went back and looked how the draft fell I'm glad he didn't reach for one. I thought LeBeau had our corners playing better towards the end of the year but still need upgrades.
Agree on Osweiler.
