After all of the malarkey about Josh's ability to huck it downfield, he sure did look good at it didn't he? I watched a lot of teams this year and I swear that Dobbs looked more ..... PROFESSIONAL, than most. He stood like a man in the pocket and showed authority and class. And when the pocket broke down he ran like a man on Fire.i hope he gets an honest shot at the next level.

His short accuracy was atrocious. You cant rely on your legs in the NFL. I love Dobbs and am thankful for him but thats the cold hard truth.

I hope he grows into a more accurate passer and becomes a franchise QB or just successful!! Couldn't happen to a better guy imo.

Tom Brady 2.0, but with the rushing ability of Michael Vick. Already been voted into Canton. Will own the record in every statistical category of football, yes, including defense and special teams.

Trust me, I have an eye for talent.

The hell you can't. It's the new trend.

What NFL are you watching? Most running QBs get hit enough to stay in the pocket until they absolutely have to run. Vick, RGIII, Tyrod Taylor, etc......even Cam Newton, and he's a friggin' tank. All(most)of these men learn to throw first and trust the millionaires guarding them.

With the right situation I believe Dobbs can make it. He has the smarts and work ethic to keep improving. I'm sure gonna miss him and pray the best for him.

I think if Kyle Shanahan or Josh Mcdaniels got a head coaching gig at a franchise with no QB, that one of the two coaches could develop JD into a good NFL QB.

He would need to go to the right situation with a good team around him like Prescott did this year.

Dobbs is different. He's got Russell Wilson like slipperiness to him. And with his size he's reminiscent of Randall Cunningham IMO.

Just think about this. Dobbs hasn't missed a snap in 4 years and he run the ball as much as our RBs most games. He has an uncanny ability to never take a big hit. He seems to have great instincts when it comes to avoiding shots. And he when he's tackled he falls easy thereby increasing his durability.

I think he has the ability and durability to be a true duel threat at the next level like Russell Wilson and a prime Randall Cunningham.

I think playing for Bruce Arians at Arizona would be an ideal fit. Arians is a great QBs coach. He molded Ben Roethlisburger and Andrew Luck. I like his aggressive nature when it comes to taking deep shots. And the Cardinals are a loaded teams that had a down year.

If Dobbs goes there he could be a starter year one like Dak and lead them to the playoffs.

I'm not sure if you're aware of Wilson's rushing stat. He may have 2 or 3 plays a game designed for him to run. He really only runs when he has too. Less than 300 yards total for the year. Andrew Luck has more rushing yards than Wilson

A better example would be Tyrod Taylor

Dobbs isn't NFL ready. He doesn't have to make the reads and checks a NFL QB makes. How many NFL teams run a "check with me" presnap call? I think the only reason you do that in college is if you don't trust your QB to make a call. Hell he doesn't even make the zone read calls! Tell me why! Why can't he read one player? Why call a QB run or RB run out of the zone read system that doesn't have a read? Why make it look like a read when it isn't? There is no advantage. Is this his fault? I don't think so. But it's someone's fault that he didn't develop enough in the system to make these basic calls.

Don't get me wrong he is obviously a great player. And I am a huge fan of him as a player and person but I think his coaches have failed him in regards to preparing him for a chance at an NFL roster.

I really hope Dobbs gets a chance with a NFL team that has a really good QB coach.

He's well able to learn anything and having full time to learn the QB position and not have college classes to worry about all the time would be a huge advantage for him.

I may be wrong but I think Dobbs completion percentage before the bowl game was 62% and that's not horrid.

I wish him all the best in the world.

VFL...GBO!!!

He's bad at reading defenses, and his instincts aren't the best. People all year said he goes with his primary option almost all the time.
