Georgia Tech with a message to Tennessee....

He knows he's catching us in a rebuilding year. Not sure what they're bringing back, but the beauty of that system is that they can succeed with lesser talent. Will be a tough, tough opener.

So let me get this straight, in year 5, we are in a rebuilding year?

Kudos Georgia Tech for demonstrating your uncanny ability to record won/loss stats for three conference division games while showcasing your ability to read next season's schedule and realizing you play another SEC East opponent. I see where you're going with this you sly dog. Cunning. (The tweet was the icing on the cake.) Nothing short of "next level" seems an apt enough description of your exploits. GT and the whole ACC must be so proud of you for your social media savvy.

Tennessee should win by 14-21 pts but the cut blocking could very well ruin the Vols' season on opening day. Even if Shy Tuttle is healthy by then, I hope they keep him out of that game.

Not trying to be a negavol here but what have you seen to make you think we should win by 14-21?

Because if Butch does anything well it's whoop up on ACC and Big 10 teams. Lol

No doubt. The talent difference between the GNATS and the Vols is pretty big, too. With a healthy team and a whole summer to game plan for their "dreaded" triple option, we should beat them down.

We're losing about 70 percent of our offensive production this year to graduation and the NFL, but that's not something to be concerned about right? We have proven Dobbs and Kamara replacements just waiting on the bench right?

Defense, on the other hand well, you might be correct there, I don't know how it gets any worse unless we keep Willie Martinez.

Just because there's a concern doesn't mean there's reason we will not be good. How many people wanted Dormandy or JG in at some point during the season? Maybe not a better team on paper but schedule not as bad next year and tough games more spread out, and think it is entirely possible we are better record next year...as long as we get S/C coach decision right.

Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson....

“We’re 3-0 in the SEC East and have Tennessee next.” - @GTPaulJohnson

Awfully bold Coach Johnson. Thanks for the bulletin board material.

And wasn't Butch's message, "We're 15-4 in our last 19 games."? Gonna be a good offseason! :zeitung_lesen:

Boy for a high school offense, a bunch of teams have a hard time stopping it. I mean do you have any clue how many yards GT would have run for against us this year?

Also, unless our defense VASTLY improves, they will redefine the term "swiss cheese defense" against us next year.

They will not be able to stop us. Vols will not like reading Paul's garbage for 8 months.
