Nothing brings the negas and pumpers together like D4H's ignorance.

Best of luck to Barnett, was easily my favorite player the past two seasons.

Only guys with Hall of Fame potential on this team are Cam Sutton and Alvin Kamara.

Love Barnett but he's a good player on the next level not a great one.

I couldn't disagree more. Love Sutton and AK but I see them as fringe starters in the nfl. Barnett could be a 10+ sack guy every year in the nfl. His strength is under estimated. He can run around or threw ot's. He has abused the best tackles in the sec for 3 years. You realize these guys he is abusing go to the nfl right?

And a starter from day one. Battled through injuries to have a record breaking career as a Vol. He deserves great things.

Yes he does. Just an incredible player. Guys like that, they go out and do it. He'll have success because he demands it of himself. Gonna be a great ambassador for our program for years to come.

Have you lost your fu....

Oh,it's you.

If that twit is making bold predictions, I expect those guys to be bagging groceries at Kroger in 2 years.

If he is playing them down, someone needs to make their way to Canton to reserve them a spot for their bust.

What a tool.

Derek Barnett surpassed a hall of farmer's 4 year record in 3 years. When you stop and think about that...wow.

PLUS...

Clowney had 24 sacks in 3 years and 129 tackles, and was drafted #1.
Bosa had 26 sacks and 148 tackles in 3 years and was drafted #3.

And Garrett is better? Bull crap.

Let them all think Garrett is better, just so he ends up in Cleveland

Good lord, your love affair with Alvin Kamara is ridiculous. HOF potential?!? Lololol...king of hyperbole strikes again. Cam Sutton will be an above average DB.

Barnett has the best chance to have an All-Pro type career of the three, but will be very scheme dependent. He needs to be a 4-3 DE, not a 3-4 end or OLB.

Cam Sutton....really? He's good but won't even sniff hof

Cam Sutton has the most HOF potential on this team. He'll be a Darrelle Revis type of player in the NFL.

Alvin Kamara will be a Marshall Faulk type player.

Derek Barnett will be like Charles Johnson (Panthers) and Michael Bennett (Seahawks) on the next level. Good player but not great. And definitely nowhere close to the Hall of Fame.

"Bold" predictions is his thing; just don't expect him to admit when he's wrong (which is most of the time), because he'll either completely ignore it or he'll spin it that he was actually right.

He's a troll.

Sutton's stock has dropped a good bit since his sophomore season due to injury and just average to slightly above average play. He's not long, has very good, but not great speed and hasn't shown to be a lockdown corner at the collegiate level. I think he'll go 3rd-4th round or so and wind up being a good, solid CB for someone for maybe a decade barring injury. But there's just no way to project him as a future HOFer based on what he's shown at Tennessee.

Surprised you didn't say Dobbs will be a Tom Brady type

Yes. And really its not even close. Myles Garrett is bigger, faster, and stronger.

Guys collegiate production doesn't always lend to pro production. Just because Derek Barnett had more success in college doesn't mean he'll be the better pro.

Myles Garrett is Bruce Smith 2.0. Same body type. Same skillset. Myles Garrett has Hall of Fame potential. Derek Barnett doesn't. IMO Garrett is the no-brainer #1 pick. And quite frankly the best pro prospect to enter the NFL since Andrew Luck in 2012.

I don't know about HOF. That's rarified air. But DB will have a long career and make tons of money. With his meanstreak he is like the defensive end version of Ndomankung Suh. In the pros they will work on his run support to compliment his pass rush.

Lmaoooooo. Garrett can't hold Barnett's jock strap. He can't even dominate against SEC opponents unless they're playing someone like Norfolk St.

Barnett controlled the LOS most of the day yesterday. The Nebraska QB thought he had multiple sacks which shows how much he was in the backfield in spite of only one official sack. I will always pull for him in the NFL because he always gave everything while at Tennessee. Also--he DID cause a fumble even though replay refused to overturn the call of incomplete pass. I'm gonna miss him in Orange. :)
