There is one reporter who hangs out on a closed UT board that is pretty much on the level of troll board or the vol version 4chan. He's the one that got goaded into asking about "Punch-gate" (several posters said yeah we heard that and those were his sources -- they were messing with him and had a good laugh about him actually bringing that up). This season they did it to him again with another equally absurd topic that never should've been brought up but they praised him as being the only reporter with 'balls.' That's what passes for media and gets press credentials around here so forgive me if I have a very dim view of most Knoxville media, particularly sports related media.

Well, since SPS got tossed to the scrap heap years ago, are we talking Monvolia?

Didn't warrant a question from Parker and it reads like he's trying to bait Gaulden into lashing out.

A few psychos on a message board does not warrant asking the question. The game is almost a sell out, so the boycott talk has absolutely no credence. And, I believe that you mentioned it was in the FF. That should tell you all that you need to know.

I don't think he was baiting RG into a answer as I think he was calling out idiot fans which we do have many refusing to spend money tomorrow. I was a subscriber to Scout when he first started there. He always has had a chip, and really does not take it well when someone questions him. He does have some good connections, and he has not notably been anti-Tennessee, but I have never thought that he was all that reasonable. Scout's version of the war room was a live chat on Sunday nights and he always seemed to be in a rush to leave and, again, when someone questioned what he said, he got very defensive.

I disagree. The guys I have planning to tailgate with me tomorrow and refusing to spend money on tickets and go to the game are season ticket holders and make plenty of money to buy tickets. They are just being stubborn but 100% would have gone and sent plenty of money in New Orleans.

I too am a Christian. My "Christian Warrior" mock was directed at the fact that he is likening the punishment he is potentially going to get for cheating to Christ's crucifixion, an analogy that I, as a Christian, find appalling.

This makes more sense. I took your OP the wrong way too. And I agree with you, it is appalling to equate the two.
