I haven't even seen it brought up.

It's just a bad look regardless because it's getting retweeted like crazy..makes the fanbase look even worse.

Parker shouldn't have asked something so ridiculous.

Yes - it was. Have seen far more "encroachment" on punts not get called this season.

But the officiating is horrid as usual. No targeting on Peterman sack in the NW/Pitt game as an example. I've seen more uncalled offensive holding than ever before. Go ahead and tackle or clothesline the d-line - no calls.

Do other teams have media people scour the internet looking for the most extreme and terrible comments made by any and everyone on fan sites or comment sections and then highlight them like it's a freakin' mass epidemic? Good grief. I'm sure there's a Bama fan saying something worthy of excommunication right now somewhere, but for some reason day in and day out all I see is Tennessee being raked through the mud.

I am getting close to throwing my hands up. Not because of Butch but because how they are handling the AD and how they want our money but don't really care about product. Going to wait and see how things play out. They can't continue to assume blind support.

Moreso than OC & DC and schemes, it appears position & S&C coaching may be more the areas that need some fixes. Visible problems & symptoms include abnormal rate of injuries, player & depth development, fundamentals & execution, etc.

Those "FANS" are among us on this board. Have seen the "boycott" mentality promoted by several so-called fans in a number of threads. They probably never went to the games in the first place. It is a shame that the internet allows them to act like they speak for a fanbase, WHICH THEY DO NOT!!!!!!!

If Butch makes some good staff changes and gets those problem areas fixed and thereby develops and coaches up the talent that's on the Vols' roster, Tennessee should be able to win the East in 2017.

But, doing the same things and expecting better results is...well you know.

Also, I don't see the talent on the roster that most of you do. QB play will probably be solid, but I think we'll regress from Dobbs' production. There's only one SEC RB on the roster. WR's are very good. TE has been hit or miss with the Wolves. OL has consistently struggled under Mahoney. (I understand a change may be made here but even that can backfire if there is too much change.) We have two proven DE's then a bunch of unknowns. DT is very top heavy. One rolled ankle there and we're in trouble. LB's are small for the SEC and were nonexistent for large stretches this season. And we all know the problems we've had in the secondary.

On top of all this - there are no clear cut difference makers coming in from this recruiting class besides Trey Smith. We need more than bodies. We need game changers. Alabama, LSU, Florida, etc. get 4 or 5 of those guys each year.

Seriously, I know Butch could and should be more honest, but now I am starting to get why he doesn't say much to our media. I just don't understand.

There were some rumblings after the Vandy game by a select few to boycott the bowl, but that was quickly dispelled when UT sold their allotment.

We have some real winners...media and fans.

our media is the worst in the country, they love starting ****. I really wish they would all shut the hell up and stop starting **** with our crazy fanbase. If they were any good they would be writing articles everyday about the ad search and why its taking so long or why the leadership at ut in general is awful and slow as hell at making decisions. They are too busy printing every little secret they hear regardless of credibility trying to see who has the smallest d***. Thats all they are is d***less, worthless *******s. I dont blame butch for being so monotone with them, id ban them from all practices, speaking to any players and answer every question after games with "we played hard" until they decided to be real journalists

These are the same fans that drove off Cuonzo Martin in the middle of a sweet sixteen run. These fans make zero sense to me.

Honestly not sure what spoiled them so much.

Personally I'd love the media to go after elements of our fanbase. They deserve it and I think they are part of the problem
