Nick Saban doesn't beat you on gameday. He wins in February. That lineup should beat anybody in the country.
Well said. I agree. I don't know to what extent Butch sought Juco or grad transfers for this class for positions of immediate need, but in UT's situation, it seems like that would've been a good strategy.DT I agree on. Butler and Crosby can play, but it will be a couple of years till they can contribute. Crosby has the potential to have the more immediate impact, but Butler will be the better player in the long run maybe. But it is really almost impossible to find true FR that can play many meaningful snaps there anyway. There are probably only two to three guys in any recruiting class that can at DT. I actually think Shamwow and LaBruzza can play at CB, but we needed Corker too. Losing that one did suck, but I sure didn't think he was worth two roster spots. All in all...this class is a disappointment...I agree. It is not what it could have been, but considering the disaster the season was...It really is nowhere near as bad as it could be either. So in summation, the staff gets blame for botching a great opportunity...BUT...they also get credit for not letting it be a complete disaster.

Since when was Akers a heavy Vol lean?
John Brice at 247 is just a louder and more loose version of himself at VQ.
Not directly but usually when a new AD comes in, and a sport isn't where he feels it should be, he makes changes
You know that Akers heard this to no end from opposing coaches
Trouble with this is that the new AD is not known and folks have no clue whether the new AD will think the football program is on track or off track.
The speculation that is being driven by the media and the part of this fan base that would complain and want change even if UT was undefeated is the problem.
True and good point. Corner back might make sense too. Did Butch recruit any Juco players agressively for this class?
