I didn't mind the Travis Haney article.

He referenced sources that said Butch has some serious insecurity issues, which we all know he does. He had sources who shed some light on how bad the S&C program was. The Jalen Hurd situation was handled terribly, and some of the quotes from Haney's sources explained why that was the case.

If you have a problem with him referencing anonymous sources, then you shouldn't get excited when Fortenberry, Hubbs or anyone else reports good news because they are always referencing anonymous sources.

I shouldn't have brought it up. Personally, I think there were a lot of things wrong with the Haney article even if he did get a few details here and there right. Next topic.

Not Ron, but it seems every time specific names are floated early as possible replacements, that is usually who we end up with. Happened with Debord. Since the same 3 names have surfaced numerous times, when the positions aren't vacant, then I am pretty confident that is who we end up with.

What's interesting is if we get the Oregon coach and Hoke almost all of our coaching staff would have been a head coach at one point and time with the exception of Coach G

I disagree. They play in a fairly weak conference with one of the richest boosters that also gets them the coolest gear every season, along with the best facilities in the Pac10.

We have fans bemoaning the fact that we went 8-4 for 2 seasons in a row and he just pulled a losing season in his 4th year. How would that play at UT?

All those leaving coupled with this recruiting class spells complete disaster for Jones. I'm telling you boys, he's on borrowed time. Unless he can somehow learn to coach by August we are looking for a new coach this time next year. Sucks being a vols fan

how can you not be optimistic for the next 3 years minimum? i guess critical thinking wasnt you guys strong suit. this years meh class doesnt erase the fact that we are sitting pretty in the 2 deep across the board on offense for atleast 3 years if jg and chandler leave early, otherwise its 4 years. barring injuries of course. maybe defense has questions to be answered. if next year is 8-4 or better i think butch gets extended and recruiting picks back up. this class is just as good as the 13 class and you guys thought we were a playoff team so whats the problem?

So a guy that sat out a year due to not making grades and a preferred walk on spell disaster? Come on, there's plenty of better thing that you can use than that to predict impending doom.

With Perry out, and still assuming Kamara and Barnett leave, we are at 64 returning scholarship players going into Spring. Still going to see 4-7 more move on.
