Thousands of people do that, no one mourns their passing unless they're a celebrity. I'll never understand the mourning over famous people dying. I'm not happy when anyone dies, but no more so a celebrity than anyone else.

I'm not sure it is the mourning of the actual person or that they are possibly a secondary figure in someones life. At my age Carrie Fisher was someone that was a star of a movie and an action figure from something that is important to kids from that era.

Same with George Michael, I was a kid and listened to a lot of his music and watched a lot of his videos.

I think people are more mourning for an era of their life that is dying and remembering their childhoods.

Spot on. David Bowie, Prince, George Michaels, Carrie Fisher. Childhood heroes that I followed into adulthood. I don't mourn celebrities anymore than another death of someone I don't know personally. But it still sucks.

Just a random question. Would yall had rather take away the win from one of FL or GA and then end up winning both Scar and vandy?

Losing on the road to Georgia would not have been the end of the world for me. We desperately needed that Florida win.

It's sad when anyone dies! Celebrity or not. They have loved ones and friends that suffer. In the case of celebrities they have fans that dote on them. On a personal note, I am 62 and dying at 60 is doubly sad. My mom passed at 60 and it was a traumatizing event.
I wasn't a huge fan of Michael's music but he was obviously a very talented man and also a humanitarian and good person beloved by many. R.I.P.

"81 Under Armour All-Americans were asked which fan base was most annoying on social media, and Tennessee was listed at No. 1 by 9 prospects."

Yikes lol

i'd take away the UGA game, but i think the team got the bowl they deserve, unfortunately. and, we'd probably get embarrassed in the Sugar, or whatever bowl we would have been in..

Judging by the amount of garbage that is posted on this site every day that stat is not a surprise.

Recruits loved the attention from UT fans when the program was on the up and up. Now that we've regressed, the fans are annoying to them.

OK. I am off the Cam Akers soap box. Misery is knocking at the door. Hope we push back the Huskers.
