Always seemed to me like Hubbs and Fort did all the work and JB and AP wrote a little article every now and then that nobody would read.

Kid probably has been guaranteed to start.... We've asked the same questions with UT and other schools the past few years when kids go somewhere else that doesn't make sense on paper.... in the end its up to the kid I guess..

Exactly.... and folks were upset we didn't get to the sugar bowl... we may have dodged a bullet from a perception standpoint... they would have lit us up on a very large national viewing audience...

maybe not, never said that.... what I think we can both agree on is our secondary/DBs have been completely awful this season and we are in some desperate need for kids who don't get burned every play, chase their man, and never turn and track the ball.... in their second and third year with the program...

Ahh..I remember when Fortenberry camped out at the airport in his car for like 12 hours just to get a glimpse of Charlie Strong stepping off the plane & had everybody believing..good times good times.

I can but that has to change with what is already on the roster.

Injuries really, really gutted our defense. I went back yesterday and watched the second half of the Florida game. We were missing a bunch of guys in that one, but held them without a first down for most of the second half. We had it in us when healthy.

I wonder how we'll look against Nebraska. I think we can put 40 on them easily, but I wonder how much they can put up on them... Whatever happens, I'm looking forward to it! Last chance to see the Vols for quite some time!
