I obviously don't deal with them as much as you, but here in Atlanta even the management/admin are pretty diverse. even with the guys I deal with there is always a "person of color", dumb phrase iyam, involved. I think the management reflects the general demographics of the area. it may be off a couple percentage points but I am reckoning it changes as time goes on.

when it comes to hiring the slant is always pro-black. we lost out on a couple city jobs because we weren't diverse enough. we only had 33% AA. unfortunately they don't take into consideration the 33% asian we had and the latino, to be counted towards "diversity" you had to be black. we came in after a couple 100% "diverse" firms. the irony made us laugh.

There are multiple ways to skin a cat genetically. It in no way negates: genotype -> phenotype.

I had 2 cups when I was freezing my ass of in New Hampshire in 1974. Not a drop before then, not a drop after. There........I'm out of the closet as a non-coffee drinker. Deal with it mfers!

Not socially.

We are genetically the same race. But white supremacists have spent the last 500 years convincing the world we are different races. So that is how we know behave.

Until we rectify the inequalities created by this system of white supremacy we can't move beyond the SOCIAL CONSTRUCT that is race.
