Right. These women gotta know there are consequences to their actions. I feel so bad for Mixon. Can you imagine how terrified he was, in that moment, with that intimidating 120lb woman *gasp* pushing him????

You think BVS is bad, imagine the PTSD he has from that harrowing encounter.

Yep, and the only way I can see that we, as men, can teach them is to punch them in the face. The more damage done, the better the lesson learned should be.

I am done. I am not going to change how you feel and you are not going to change how I feel about it. Simply put if you don't want someone to hit you then you probably shouldn't hit them.

Most normal people late at night would have walked away when shoved, cussed or whatever by a female that most likely had a few. But to rare back and actually hit anyone in the face in a business is a classless pos. If he was my teammate whether a star or not should have had the crap out of him. He should have been expelled, arrested and jail time plus all medical etc. once again athletes think they are above the law. It shows on the field also by most of these "outstanding citizens". If there were more players like Larry Fitzgerald who act like the have caught the ball before, got first downs before and hand the ball to refs we would have this crap. Poor parenting and disrespect for people along with athletic pampering causes this along with OU and that coach Mr. Stoop another class act over the years

Just to recap

1. Everyone has given their opinion
2. Everyone has tried to change the opposition's opinion.
3. No opinions have been changed

Can we move on yet?

"The judicial outcome and the video speak for themselves," Oklahoma President David L. Boren said. "The University is an educational institution, which always sets high standards that we hope will be upheld by our students. We hope that our students will all learn from those standards, but at the same time, we believe in second chances so that our students can learn and grow from life's experiences."

- OU President David Boren, after Mixon's punishment was handed down

I can't believe, ok I unfortunately I do, that people are using 'women want to be treated equal' and connecting that sentiment to physically assaulting a woman. Women saying they should get to vote/get equal pay/get promoted equally, etc is in no way correlated to 'that means they should be engaged in physical alteration equally. That is beyond stupid. If a man's life is threatened then defend yourself...against man, woman, she-man, animal, alien, or anything else. Behind shoved by a woman who has no weapon NEVER justifies what he did. That is the opposite of 'being a man!' in that situation.

Watching the stAte vs. UCF game. stAte called a very nicely designed fake punt pass that went for a TD. Wish Butch would put that in the playbook. Of course the officials called it back for illegal formation saying too many players in the backfield. The great thing about DVR's, you can replay and see that was not true. Again. 22 penalties with 10 minutes to go. Make that 23 on a PI that wasn't. Another one while writing this. Procedure penalty - #24. Pathetic officiating.

Many of you remember Rich Rollin who used to post here. For the ones that don't he was tragically killed in a vehicle collision. We set up a GoFundMe account and raised over $10,000 for his family, something that I'll never forget. He was a personal friend. Our kids played little league football together. He always told me we were "five star fence leaners". Anyway, I saw this post from his wife and thought I'd share.

That's great! Wasn't here then, but cool to see what you guys did for her. So much more important than football

I remember we were trashing Birmingham that day. It was hilarious and then Invol broke the news the next day. It's like I lost a friend that I had never met.
