I am not sure why you guys are so opposed to keeping the internet a safe space. Akers family is likely looking on in here. How will they respond to the obvious dysfunction. It's terrifying for the future of Tennessee football. If you don't have a school counselor to consult please consider checking in with you employee assistance officer. Thank you.
5 star QBs from the past few years.
2016
Jacob Eason
Shea Patterson
2015
Josh Rosen
Blake Barnett
Kyler Murray
2014
Kyle Allen
2013
Max Brown
Christian Hackenburg
2012
Jameis Winston
Gunner Kiel
2011
Jeff Driskell
Braxton Miller
While there's quite a few really good QB's on that list, none are for sure game changers.
In retrospect, would you have took Max Brown or Christian Hackenburg over Josh? Eason and Patterson look good, but it's still too early to call. Barnett hasn't sniffed the field, Murray is a push right now. Not familiar enough with Rosen to make a call on him.
Obviously Winston, Miller, and Allen rocked it. But it's by no means a for sure game changer. I will say evaluations have improved drastically in recent years.
Winston isn't a game changer? I don't like the guy but he is definitely a game changer. He won a Heisman, a national title, and is finally blossoming in the NFL pushing the Bucs into playoff contention for the first time since 2007. I do however agree with the rest. There are a couple really good QB's listed like Rosen but idk about a game changer.

When josh Rosen is healthy he is the best QB in college football5 star QBs from the past few years.

Poorly worded on my part. Yes, there's three game changers on that list IMO. But what I was trying to say is it's by no means a for sure thing that a 5* is going to come here and rock it. Look at some of the 5 stars we've had over the years and you'll get your proof of that. I do apologize.

Gotcha. So, probably no tea-leaves to read with this one as it relates to Blackburn.
And, if one were to lean to the pessimistic side of things, does him being tied up with a search for head football coach affect him ending up at UT?
