I really want to be be wrong and hopes he chooses UT over FSU. That would be huge for the Vols.

Definitely would be..Would be huge for our recruiting class with him,Trey and Ty. Could help bring in other highly rated guys that want to play along side them plus throw in being able to sell we have the #1 DT QB from last year's class ready to take over the QB job. Cam needs to be a Vol!!

The info that was posted from the VQ insider the other day that Cam loves Gillespie,wants to play with Trey Smith and is really close to Ty also..that he will be a Vol when it comes commitment time..I don't listen to most of the BS internet rumors but the guy from VQ that originally posted that is one of those posters you love to see info come..kind of like the GFW,LWS,Skeeter etc posts on here..still one of those will hold back until I see it but Robert Gillespie is his favorite recruiter and coach. And wants to play for him and with Trey and TY. He told Ty " soon dog"...he needs to go ahead and handle that.

With all that his going on at Ole Miss right now, I just can't see a 5* taking that big of a risk unless he just needs to stay closer to home for personal reasons... I could be wrong, but I think it is between us and FLST...

Absolutely agree and it's not like Freeze has been running elite RB's out and putting up huge rushing numbers.

Thanks for the info, I haven't seen Cam say he had a favorite coach. Matter of fact, only two have I seen that he said he was fond of, Freeze and Jimbo. He did say he wished Jimbo got the LSU job but then added "You don’t go to a school for a coach, in my opinion. You go because that’s where you want to be.”

He was complimentary towards CEO but isn't that what most are? He failed miserably at OM. Finding quotes from Cam is like finding Bigfoot, only a sighting here and there.

Those are wise words, odds of every coach remaining on staff for 4 years of your career is near zero and odds of your positional coach is probably 50/50 depending on who he is.

CRG has been recruiting Cam for over 2 years now. Being from Hattiesburg himself and leaving the state for college brings potential similarities to his situation. The family is more than fine with CRG.

Tennessee: “I have a great relationship with [Running Backs] Coach [Robert] Gillespie and [Head] Coach [Butch] Jones. They have a great situation there and a great school.”
