We may being paying $6 million, but we still would not be beating Alabama. That's correct and that's a Team with more coaching changes than hiTllary changes lies.
alaBubba could probably beat the browns, LOL!
He's also helping fund his sons political career which isn't cheap.
Just because he wasted over $1 Billion on a NFL team is even more reason he won't want to throw more HUGE $$$ at our footVol Team.
If our big boosters wanted to throw that kind of HUGE $$$ around we would never have hired buTch and we'd have a HC earning $6 Million or more per year right now.
Please attempt to Think and engage brain before posting my friend.
This isn't la la land, this is reality.

Finally, exhibit D for those who say it's a different world today:
Enjoy!
Anyone can spin it any which way to fit their agenda.
Let me try it this way......
"So one would think boosters want the University to get it right.......at some point!"
My response should have been....
The boosters made their millions and retained it by making wise decisions. They know more about what's going on with the program than I do. I would assume they think they are getting it right, whether I think they are or not.

here is a couple of examples of their influence.. without details
The previous AD to the current AD didn't get it right and had to leave...
The current AD and Chancellor had their issues and have to leave.
they do attempt to make the right decisions. They invest money in the university because they care as well as whatever financial pluses it brings, tax breaks but getting the recognition. Lots of pluses for them I'm sure.
No one makes all the right decisions unfortunately. In life, business, family or school.
You're making this too hard. Never mind.
I think you were driving at 'they make money because they don't make a habit of donating millions on top of whatever they already give just to fire coaches. Instead, they spend it on their business and make wise choices'.
Also, as for the general discussion in this thread, I can't wrap my mind around some people actually believing that the high level donors expect ANY sort of return on their money just because UT Football is "doing good".
That is too stupid for words.
