I think it's less butch going rogue and more he's had to carry a lot of non-football stuff on his shoulders and had to take his hand off the wheel
Oh it wouldn't matter that much.
Jones could hold a presser stating the weight room has been turned into a gymnastics studio and that we are discontinuing the S&C program altogether and some would sop it up with a biscuit and a smile
I didn't mean to imply he went rogue. I think he genuinely needs leadership, and there has been nobody to provide that. An AD would have kept things in check, before player issues escalated and the season veered out of control.
Try to believe it for just a second and then think about the ups and downs of the season.
It will start to make sense.

Wow..just wow. That is..umm...just wow. I mean why though? Those guys earned their rep. Why with everything on the line for themselves and the team would they slack off? Just kids being kids, not knowing what is really best for them? That just...wow. It actually makes sense..how could anybody really blame Butch for trusting their leadership? I would have.
