'17 TN OL/DT Trey Smith (UT commit 12/6/2016)

Dang I hope Kmac takes the next step next year

Always hope a player gets better but I think his play is not being given the due it deserves. One of his last games played before injury, I remember reading an article where he graded out best on the line. He didn't have a sack but occupied two lineman every play. He doesn't have to initiate a sack to be doing his job.

Trey Smith is a Vol. I can't go into detail as to how I know this, but it's done. Will early enroll.

This may be Butchs most important recruit.
The staff and fan base REALLY need some good news.
I do hope you are right. Otherwise, another big meltdown.

I agree. Just want to see more disruption. He is doing great occupying blockers and stuffing the run game.

You could see KMac's impact by watching Barnett down the stretch. Dude was facing triple teams because our DTs were all hurt and the opposing offense didn't respect anybody else on the line. That's almost unheard of.

We said that about Khalil didn't we? You never know how they will develop at the Hill.:p:p:p

Anyone who said that did not have a clue. KMac was coming off an injury from high school and everyone knew he had conditioning issues before coming on campus because of the injury.

It was only this past summer and fall that he finally was healthy and in shape.

He's talking about saying you know something & not telling a thing about it. Keeping people in the wonder about it.

That's what the poster meant. That's ok because Smith announces in 2 days anyhow & we won't need your supposed information.

The info literally means nothing to me. I'll get nothing from it. I care very little about recruiting and frankly, I've seen so many of these highly touted recruits turn into busts at UT, that it's hard to even get excited. But seeing how there's this loooooong thread about the recruitment of this guy and most of it is just back and fourth bicker and speculation, I figured I'd bring something useful to those who really care.

I won't elaborate (yet) because I was told not to say anything. Anyone that knows me on here knows my brother is in a fraternity at UT. One that parties and hangs with players. Take it or leave it. Like I said, I really don't care.

Exactly, he still gets double teamed a lot.
