89% to be exact. http://www.cnn.com/election/results/exit-polls
LOL. Knowing a few people means nothing. I mean there were some black people that voted for Trump and like him. That doesn't mean that most black people support Trump or like him. 90% of black people voted for Hillary Clinton and despise Donald Trump.
And in that same fashion you might know a few black Cubans that dislike Castro. That is not true for the overwhelming majority.
Here is a BBC interview featuring a black Cuban poet living in London talking about how he remembers Fidel Castro: https://vimeo.com/193317955
He says basically what I said. Before Fidel, Cuba was a racist apartheid state. After Fidel, black people were given more opportunity. De Jure racial discrimination was officially ended. Black people were given the right to free education and healthcare. Life improved dramatically. Was it perfect? No. Is there still alot of racism in the country? Yes. But all in all, life under Castro was an incredible improvement for black people in Cuba.
Its interesting. Statistically, the overwhelming amount of charitable support for blacks in this country and the issues they face come from white, conservative donors. Join the revolution.
1. Is that 90% of all black people or 90% of the black people who voted? I ask because Trump got something like 14% or more of the black vote.
12. If Cuba is such a great place for black people why did that poet leave?
Hey, Castro might have outlawed racism and leveled the playing field for blacks but he did so by making everyone poor and enslaving them to the state.
89% of African Americans did not vote for Clinton. Low turnout.
I bet D4H isnt even an AA
I bet hes a white guy, who listens to rap, wears his hat sideways, and says "yo" a 1,000 times before lunch
Its also interesting, statistically, the overwhelming amount of violent death blacks in this country and the issues they face comes from blacks killing and robbing blacks. Yet, instead of Black Lives Matter being made something every person of every color in America can get behind to help stop thousands more killings than those killed by police. But noooo, instead, it's just one more militant fringe black group.
Please, ALL Lives Matter. Every single one.
Black on black violence is the result of poverty and inequality in this country.
Police violence on black bodies is state sanctioned violence.
Two completely different things. You can't appeal to poor people in desperate situations to not be poor anymore or be desperate. That is a problem the government must solve by improving the living conditions of black people in this country.
But we can appeal to our government to not kill us anymore. That is why black lives matter exists. To stop the government from killing it's own citizens.
You really think there are black people that didn't vote that support Trump? LOL.
Most black that don't vote hate Trump more than those who voted. They're in that Colin Karpernick class. They don't think either party cares about black issues.
