Seems like most on the Purdue board think they are getting PJ Fleck.

Thing about that is that jobs keep opening then filling resulting in other openings so Fleck will have more suitors by the time he is free to talk, which is Sunday.

According to OP and a couple others he already told recruits and players and the media has known for over a day. I find that very believable because this isnt the Internet age so if a coach told people he was leaving it wouldnt get out at all. Noone would get cell phone video of him addressing players nor would they tweet. They would politely stay quiet until he was ready to announce. Thats always how these things go so OP is absolutely credible.

What are you hearing Beecher? We need some good need in here. Are you referring to the AD search, potential future coaching search or both? Because if we don't hire a strong AD, I don't see how the latter will ever come true.

Some of both, but moreso the AD. I think that is getting fixed in short order.

That's true. My source said that Dooley will be brought in as a WR coach. Coaching staff as of right now:

HC: Skip Holtz
OC: Lane Kiffens
OL: Fulmer
QB: Manning
WR: Dooley
Special teams: Majors

DC: Shoop will stay.

Here is our current situation:

2015 - We're an 11-2 team that had a couple of wins stolen from us.

2016- We're a 6-6 team that stole a couple of wins.

That's a horrendous backslide.

We're 8-4 same as last year. That isn't backwards unless you know of a different meaning of the word backwards lol. A win is a win. Since it doesn't matter to you how we lost to A&M then it doesn't matter how we won against App state. Hope you get what I'm saying.

I get it and I think Shoop is the real thing but the backups although less talented played basically the whole year and were still out of position and fundamentally lacking at the end of the year. Either they or the coaches were mailing it in.
