If Oregon can't get a big name (and there aren't many), they could offer PJ Fleck or Scott Frost. Bet they already a short list and have laid groundwork with their agents.

Brett McMurphy
@McMurphyESPN: Oregon has fired Mark Helfrich, @TedMillerRK reports. 1st reported by CSSNW.com

I hope they don't go after McElwain..

Edit: Oregon is our brother in the west. I want better for them.

Fans are SO upset with Butch right now for this season.

Y'all just hang tight... we're about to go right into the toilet.

Cam Cameron or some random guy you've never heard of... sittin' by the phone.

If Brian Kelly leaves ND this year, it seems like almost all the major jobs with guys on the hot seat will have been filled heading into 2017.

Biggest potential openings next year would probably be UCLA, Auburn, and A&M. And I think there's a decent chance only one or even none of those jobs actually come open.

If we are looking for a coach in 2017, we may be the top job on the market.

Dear gracious the ignorance around here is awful

reasonable assumption right bruin lol. these dudes rail you man but youve been on the money since the loss. im hoping butch has embraced the reality that he needs to wrench up his game and he's putting the pedal down starting with recruiting then blasting someone in a bowl game before making some good hires on the staff.

Me too, he is about to run out of Muschamp's defensive players and he is not a good coach. I could see him bolting for Oregon. He was very lucky at Florida to inherit great defensive players.
We need McElwain to stay. They might go get a real coach like Mullens and that would be trouble.

We're a top job right now if we get an AD that will tell (demand) the boosters and adminstration to spend money

What is interesting about that? BFD

Like with Chase Rogers, our coach can be an a.... He is more a mercenary than we had hoped and maybe just as low life as Kiffy and O when it comes to recruiting. Bottom line, OV is a solid poster and coach who is making a statement that CBJ is not all that great in the moral department. Sounds like a selfish SO......you fill in the blanks. I am trying to be a better person. :eek:hmy:

That's my thought exactly, and I like Oregon. They have our backs... I don't want them to get another bad coach.

Vereen has gotten better but he isn't getting drafted. Kirkland is not developing into the star that I thought he was gonna turn into last year, you can make the argument that he is playing like he was last year. Not saying that's not good but he had the billing of being a monster at mlb and I just didn't see that this year.

He's playing at about 60 percent. Oh my goodness.

flight tracking showing flights to Purdue and Houston. Makes me wonder if there are members of those staffs being considered for positions at UT? Strength coach maybe?
