One other positive thing that is never mentioned about Dobbs. He is one tough ass durable dude. Never been hurt to my knowledge and Lord knows he has taken some hits.

Funny you mention this. We played a scramble a few years ago and the Mullens were there. Megan Mullen seemed to love Starkville and I got the impression they've been very happy there. It's possible Mullen might not want the added pressure and demands of a bigger program. Though he thrived at UF, so who knows? If he wants to make a move, this seems like a good time.

I realize they are private and don't have to release salary info but I can't imagine they'd have his buyout listed as his compensation 8 years later.

It would take $6m to get him out of there, at least. Who'd pony up $6m for him?

All those websites include the buyouts, so in the absence of actual FOIA docs, they just left it at the only amount they know for sure ND paid him. Surely you don't think the coach of ND just makes 1.6?
