It was sarcasm to an extent.

Doesn't matter anyway cause we aren't paying $10m to fire him. Much less pay to buyout a coach that would make the no excuses, pay for a proven winner crowd happy and then pay him the salary that he would command. (Whoever "he" is)

Giving CBJ another year and expecting him to change is a setup for disappointment. He'll be here next year-- running the same offense, spouting the same maddening cliches and managing games the same headscratching way. Like him or not, that's who he is. Expecting him to change the way he coaches or the way he manages teams, games or the media won't lead to a different outcome.

Was he at Oregon? I'll reissue. He was on his way...not there yet. I think he struggled (disinterest) at recruiting, but his assistants filled in pretty well. Don't think you can do that against Saban.

I'm not defending anything. Just because I'm not groveling and crying in the fetal position doesn't mean I'm defending anything.

I've kept it real on CBJ from the beginning. I've always had questions about him as a coach. Especially in game.

People on message boards want to keep things black and white. It can never be grey. If you defend anything Butch Jones you are a sunshine pumper. If you say anything negative you're a negavol. There's some who are negative about everything. There's some who put a positive spin on everything. I've been labeled a nega and a pumper. Just depends on who I'm upsetting by giving an opinion.

I'd put him WAY behind Peterson. Kelly's a wild genius hermit at heart. Zero social skills so his PCs are going to be 14 seconds long. Good news is not enough time for cliches. :)

Who you gonna get jj? In what real world scenario are we gonna fire our current coach at the cost of $10m and then hire someone to make the "pay for a winner" crowd happy?

Give me one realistic name along with figures of what it would cost.

My comment about saban was in reference to how unrealistic this mob of idiots sounds. "Bring in a proven winner" sounds so stupid to me. It's not based in reality considering our current situation.
