We gave up 1983 yards in the last 3 games--to UK, Mizzou and Vandy. We gave up at least 592 yards in 5 of our last 6 SEC games and went 2-4 in those games.

Concur. I defended Butch up till yesterday but now it doesn't matter what I think or thought. He has lost the narrative. And you just can't be coach at ut with .500 record against Vanderbilt. Did Majors lose twice to Vandy? He may be the last one that had more than one loss to them. Heck Dooley was 2-1 against them. Butch is 2-3 all time I think - didn't he lose a bowl game to them at Cincy?

The losses on the field are one thing but the way he seems to be unraveling at the seams and him acting like everything is good will be his undoing. He's toast and he knows it.

With the injuries, not winning the East was a disappointment. The SCAR loss was a bad loss, but now? How do can you spin all of that on top of a Vandy loss

Butch actually beat Vandy in that bowl game. But I agree with you otherwise. I support(ed) Butch, but there comes a point in time where it's just pissing in the wind to support him, even if he could be successful here in an alternate universe.

If Butch stays, he can salvage his tenure here with a big year next year (which would have seemed realistic if I hadn't watched our defense this year). Unfortunately, seems unlikely to win big next year, and at that point, there will be no salvaging it with Butch. Unfortunate, but it is what it is.

I will no longer be defending or supporting Butch. He is a complete failure and a fraud. All you nega haters were right all along. Every single one of my worst fears for this season came true. This is the biggest kick in the balls ever...Thanks Butch. Now hurry up and go away...loser.
