I'm just sitting here thinking about all the talent that has been under coached and wasted. Dobbs, Kamara, Jennings, Malone and many others. We have so much talent. And we just went 8-4. I feel sorry for those guys. On a night when Derek Barnett ties the record of an all time great, nobody is talking about that. Everyone is embarrassed by this indefensible loss. Sickening

At this point Gruden has been out so long I don't even want him.

Taggart
Chip Kelly
Narduzzi
Franklin
Fleck (but he's a massive dice roll too)

Ive talked a lot about expectations on here the last couple weeks. The expectation this season was to win the East.

After last night, this season gets an F. Complete FAILURE. Butch has drastically failed to meet expectations. Even the bare bottom minimum expectation with this team is 9-3. Instead he makes Vandy and USCjr bowl eligible.

How can Butch survive an F season in year 4?

On Bob Shoop: Vandy scores their most points in SEC play since 1971!?!? You give up more yards to them than Tennessee State!?!?!? You allow a no talent QB a record night, just like you allowed record nights to Missouri and Kentucky. As Trump said to protestors at his rallies: "GET HIM OUT, GET 'EM OUTTA HERE." Get Shoop out!

A couple thoughts the morning after:

1. UT isn't firing Butch on accord of this season's results.

2. I was the first on this board to predict he'd leave for a slight step down to preserve his image. That's now widely assumed to be true in the sense he's shopping around. I say let him go.

3. I once said "Butch isnt my kinda guy" and people asked what I meant. His postgame "presser" is just one of many examples of what I mean.

4. We can argue all day long about what level of good Josh Dobbs was as a QB. From above average to great - we'll never have a consensus. What we can all agree on is he is 100% an awesome man. How he handled himself yesterday was a great example of his character. Proud of him. Compare it to our head coach.

5. You can tell which players give their all and which don't. It's sad.

6. Player development has been hit or miss.

7. Changing S&C coach when we did was a red flag for me.

8. Locker room problems are a red flag for me.

9. Unprecedented penalties are a red flag for me.

10. A complete change in the amount of turnovers is a red flag for me.

11. Because of the above points I believe something happened this offseason in Jones's approach. I believe he thought he'd arrived. He let his players dictate too many things, as well.

12. When you promise kids things so they'll commit to you, then break those promises, you'll see 25+ kids leave. He should have never made those promises.

As I typed that, I realize I left out so many other red flags about Butch. Punchgate, being as unhinged as Muschamp, players transferring, 1st half meltdowns in 2016. The list goes on.

Kelly
Mullen
Miles
Macintyre
Taggart

I am all in for Taggert and Mullen. Could be for Kelly with the right DC. He wouldn't be able to run that quirky D stuff he tried at Oregon in the SEC. Good with Mac, don't think he will leave. Pass on Les. Too loyal to incompetent coaches on the O side of the ball.

Because he was too tough? In the SEC?
