But there is a valuable lesson to be learned from that event.

We paid Butch Jones more money...and Michigan ponied up big time for an elite coach


And they got elite results

We got a loss to Vandy

I think theres better than a 50% chance that Butch pulls a Cuonzo Martin after tonight. Too much pressure and too much noise after this loss.

Will the new AD cough up the money for a top tier coach?

I don't think they'll hire Hart's right hand man. We need an AD with lots of contacts around the country. This will help attract quality coaches.

The players do deserve our support but the loss of money will affect change faster than our post on a forum.

I've routinely said I don't want Barnhart, but he recognized where his money was made and went out and got Calipari. At this point, come on home Mitch.

Good to see the players owning the loss. So many bad coaching decisions tonight. I lost a ton of confidence in CBJ tonight.

Potential list

Miles- NC coach with no buyout and strong ties to recruiting (JaCoby would like it)

Fedora- knows Middle Tennessee well.

Strong- screw it

Chip Kelly- loooong shot and you would have to wait until the 49ers season is over. What's his buyout? Probably massive

Start the Grumors- not happening but damn that's fun.

Mike McIntyre from Colorado- dad was former Vandy coach. Has tons of ties to the area.

Fleck- doesn't wow me sorry

I would completely give up if they hired Charlie Strong. Look, do we want to win? It's not like we don't have the money. Go get Chip kelly
