If Butch bolts, I think we hire PJ Fleck.

That being said, I don't see Butch going anywhere. Odds less than 3% imo.

Then PJ would learn how much he sucks. Too corny, kisses his players and can't recruit in the SEC. Could have had Gruden but we settled again for a degenerate scumbag who drives a white van and voted for Trump AND Hillary. I cover everything? :good!:

Row the boat lol. Heck of a coach but fanbase would go crazy with his corny stuff too. If Butch left, Les Miles would be banging on our door pitching his Miles/Sarkisian package he is pitching to other places. I'd take that for sure but not sure I believe the Sark deal with Saban having a hold of him at moment

how would we match up vs oklahoma state if we got them in new orleans? havent seen one snap of their games but i know historically they are high octane/no D.

Well, the description I gave of revisionist history was a compilation examples of what people have said here. Obviously if I included "things that everyone claimed" I would be typing for weeks. Use some common sense.

And I will admit, I didn't try to track down the provenance of AVs post. He asked why all of the sudden people were down playing our talent. I answered. I literally had no idea he was responding to you. Go look at the post, you aren't quoted. Don't flatter yourself.

Ha, you got involved in a discussion between him and me. Use common sense? That needs to be stated to many around here. You get a logical response from your point and then deflect. Typical in these parts.

I personally think he's a good coach. What he's accomplished at WMU is quite impressive. Our Athletic Dept. has a history of the up and comer for less. (Pearl, Martin, Dooley, Butch.) The lone exceptions were Barnes and Serrano. Fleck is currently the best one available, that can be had for a not so large amount of cash. (Herman is going to make bank somewhere) That's just what my gut says, IF Butch were to exit. My gut also says Butch is here through at least 2018.

I mean would Peyton maybe look into coaching the Vols? I know he's said no but can you really believe the guy?

HAHA! He wouldn't take it. He don't want UT fans to end up hating him if it didn't work out. He must read Volnation. He knows how we eat our own. LOL

Yea but the players wouldn't have to settle for tacos when they are hungry, unlimited SHEETS OF UNDERCOOKED DOUGH AND SPLATTERED WITH E-COLI LACED "MEATS" AND TOMATO JUICE...SERVED BY A CREEPY FACELIFT.

CJ isn't bolting. I don't see him leaving just because some fans express their dislike for him. That happens at just about every college.

How was it deflecting? You explained why you weren't being revisionist. Great. The question was a standalone question with no quoting, and my post provided a generalized response that probably didn't address much of anything you had previously posted.

If I'm deflecting by saying that I didn't take you specifically into account when responding, then guilty as charged. If a post that isn't mine doesn't have what it is responding to quoted, I don't go back to look for it. I don't have that much dedication.

So again, don't flatter yourself.

Signed,

The Great Deflector

No, Kelly and Kamara are just better running backs.

They see the holes that the line has been opening up all year

I generally agree with this. But at the same time... there was a drive against Kentucky where Croom took over the game as a blocker. He made multiple blocks on a play that went to the right for a big gain. Then a moment later, he did the same thing - multiple blocks on a TD run. I haven't seen Croom do that before.

I absolutely think Kelly and Kamara are better backs, especially in this system. But at the same time, I didn't see blockers dominating for Hurd like the above example. It's probably just because Hurd would miss the hole or get tackled before the blockers could set up, but I thought it was at least worth asking the question.
