I really can't think of anybody outside of media horn tooters that thought it was a good idea for Strong to go to Texas in the first place. I guess it was the old 'the grass is always greener somewhere else' syndrome. Why go to the no defense league Big 12 when you could play in the ACC with its powder puffs and still hold court in FL for recruiting? Papa John would have kept paying him big bucks to stay there.

Take out Malone and our WR group is really thin and inexperienced next year. But then again so is our RB, QB, and DE groups.

What measurables other than 6'3 does he have? Can he jump high? He's not fast. He's got bad hands.

He is very fast. He can jump high.

By the way, since you made the comment about the NFL liking 4.5 guys:

34 WR drafted last year, 8 ran faster than 4.5. So apparently the NFL loves them some 4.5 guys.

Joe Haden ran a 4.57. Josh Norman ran a 4.66. Richard Sherman ran a 4.56. These are some of the best corners in the league.

Jeff George has gotten to see some action this year so I think he will help. RB will be our strength once Chandler gets here. I believe Fils will be a decent RB but I believe Chandler will over take him at some point. If we can land Akers that just adds to our strength at RB. I know I am forgetting another WR but I think we will be ok at those positions. My concern is LB and DB's.

People don't realize we have lost just 2 lineman the last two years to graduation. Kerby last year and Weisman this year. The line will be very seasoned and should be the strength of the offense.

Yeah. All these negavols want to get on here and spew their s**£. If Justin Worley wouldn't have gotten beat up we would be looking good with Dobbs being a senior!

And also I think we are good at DE next year if we can return some back to the DE position. QB, I think we will be surprised at that positions. I believe QD will start and watching him popping pads with his throws and with accuracy in limited play I was impressed. He has been in the system for two years so he should know the playbook really well. If for whatever reason he shouldn't pan out then you got JG waiting for his chance. Not a bad deal right there.

He's not fast lol. I'm sure the other guys had good hands too. Malone would of set an NFL record for drops this year.
