This is an ok take but any discussion of this season that doesn't spend a lot of time explaining the extent of the injuries we've endured and acknowledging those should have caused us to reset our expectations is unreasonable in my mind.

betting lines are updated for injuries for a reason. The playoff committee factors in injuries for a reason. Injuries matter.

Why is this such a hard concept to accept for folks?

No he didn't. He gave up 400+ yards of offense to a team without a star RB and with a terrible QB. Don't let LSU's mistakes in the 10 make you think he did a good job stopping that anemic offense.

So why would the S&C coach bulk up TKjr but not the LBs like Bates and Kirkland? I mean he is bulking up the wrong guys.

That's one coaching change I definitely agree with. some of our players just look slower to me this year (Kelly, McDowell, etc). Not sure if it's injuries or s&c but that's gotta change.

Guice is a star running back, the rest I agree with. Lsu got inside the 10 3 times and came away with just 0! Points!

And Florida still has many stars out there lol. 3 likely first round picks even with the injuries

This season has so many similarities to Cuonzo martin's last basketball team. Fans bailed on him early for failing to play consistently and beat everyone fans thought they should. He rights the ship, takes them to the sweet sixteen and they play Michigan to the wire. Season ends and Cuonzo bolts, sick of working hard for a fanbase that enjoys crucifiying its coaches more than it does cheering on its team

If we win out and win the sugar bowl, coach jones may look like a good commodity.

Would he bolt, middle finger in the air ?

Be interesting to see the fiasco of a coaching hire without stability at ad. If any fanbase deserves that I think certain elements of ours does. We have way to many complainers. I'm not sure which seasons in the past 15 years spoiled our fans so much.
