There hasn't been a more inconsistent team that Vandy this year. When they play defense they are decent but their defense hasn't been very good this year or at least consistent.

I was just digging in to the total defense rankings. We're 98th out of 128 but surprisingly three SEC teams are worse: Ole Miss, Miss State, and Missouri.

Maybe BB is right. Maybe the SEC is turning into the Big 12. Lol

Do you really not understand how important the DTs are in every defensive scheme? We only have Vickers left and he is our under tackle so he only weighs like 285 pounds. To have a working 4-3 defense, you need both your under and nose tackles so that the one can absorb blocks and the other can make plays. With our injury situation, we are able to get zero pressure up the middle, guards are able to release to our LBs, and then the RB doesn't get touched until 7 yards downfield.

The fact that everyone else in D except for Barnett is either still a little hurt or a backup only furthers the issue.
