Proud of our team and josh Dobbs!

Unlike half our fans this team didn't give up and got the win. Hate Florida won but it is what it is. We can still get to 10 wins and a nice final ranking, especially if we keep scoring like this.

The defense needs serious help but what can you do.

Go Vols!

If we make it to sugar what does everyone think of playing one of Okl/Oklahoma St/Wva? Granted a lot has to happen one being FL lose the next two and us beat Vanderbilt. But is definitely looking the most likely landing spot.

No, "bro," I get it, I just think it's an ineffective argument. Especially when it was such a faulty premise that it's been impossible to win the East with five losses since October.

My point wasn't- and never was- simply who would remember the bowl. It was that championships are always better.

So beat Vandy, Florida loses to FSU & Bama, Auburn loses to Bama.

That would mean UT gets either the Big12 conference champ (should they be left out of playoff) or the next-highest ranked big12 school?

Is that right?

So either Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, or WVU?

I think we could win a shootout...

I think we definitely have to win the sugar bowl if we want to sell progress. Lose or lose badly and we finish 9-4 just like last year. No progress made.

Watching this game, injuries are definitely the main reason in why we can't stop the run. The 260 pound guys were playing at DT are just getting blown off the ball. Truck sized holes every run play. This doesn't happen if Kmac and Shy are in there. Poor tackling is another issue, but DT is definitely the main problem.

Edit: also, every time the tackles made a play and actually beat the guards, the run was stopped at line of scrimmage. That is the main issue no doubt

I don't think there's any question the inuries are to blame. I can't believe how mindless some of our posters are that don't want to accept the injuries as an explanation. The defense bowed up when it counted though.

We have a reasonable shot at the sugar bowl. That is something to be proud of!!
