Orgeron wants to make a statement even if they probably won't give him the job. Second best talent in the SEC IMO. UF would be about 5th or 6th best. Odds are LSU wins this one.
This... is pretty surprising, actually. This dude would have been in the mix for major reps next year. He would have had to battle CFA and some freshmen for the backup role, and at that point you're a pulled hammy or sprained ankle away from seeing a lot of snaps.
Nonetheless, if he's leaving on good terms then I wish him the best. Still don't like this new trend of guys bouncing midseason though. Wonder if this was entirely his decision.
