Anybody else thinking Louisville got screwed??? Clemson and Michigan both in front of them at 3&4 and they both lost last week

Their resume is super weak. Someone mentioned they only have 2 wins over teams that are above .500. We have 4. And another 2 are exactly at .500.

They've basically played nothing but cupcakes.

If we beat Bama it will.

Making the playoff as a 3-loss SEC champ isn't impossible.

It would require a lot of help similar to what happened last week when 5 of the top 10 lost. But it is not impossible.

We would need things like Va-Tech beating Clemson in the ACC Championship, the Big 12 having a 3-loss champ, Louisville losing to Houston, etc. to get us into the playoff. Oh and I forgot beating #1 Alabama which might be the most difficult task of all.

Chaos. Keep rooting for chaos.

Exactly.

We need 3-loss Virginia Tech to win the ACC. 3-loss USC to win the Pac-12. 3-loss Oklahoma or Oklahoma St to win the Big 12. Louisville to lose to either Houston or Kentucky.

All that happens and we somehow beat Alabama, we COULD make the playoffs.

Louisville will lose at Houston. Louisville been flirting with another loss and its that type of game Herman brings his A game too

And I also think they will lose faith in making the playoffs even of they win our given the fact they didn't move past Michigan or Clemson even after they lost this past weekend to unranked teams.

In aerospace engineering possibly, as a football player, nope.

1st Round draft pick by Team Nasa. I love Dobbs but his inconsistent decision making this year has killed it for me.

SN: Anybody see Shea Patterson Saturday? Best of the freshman QBs playing easily. I'm still not a believer of Hurts or Eason. But Shea is the real deal. Makes me anxious to see Guarantano take over. 😆

Nope. They're situated perfectly. They have no one left to play (Houston is a shell of themselves) and Michigan plays Ohio state head to head.

Unless Washington wins out, or they lose, they're in.

I think Kentucky could give them a game too. I wouldn't bet money on it but it also wouldn't surprise me if Kentucky pulled an upset. Rivalry game. This is clearly the best Kentucky team in a long time. They play very physical. Could be interesting.

South Carolina might surprise against Clemson too. Again wouldn't bet money but also wouldn't be surprised.

That last weekend could be the rise of the sec east.

My word...

Did you see what Dobbs did to KY? Lamar Jackson will pass out before he gets all the yards he can get

I heard Daniel Hood on the radio yesterday. He compared our injury situation to the 2013 Florida team. He reminded everyone that they finished 4-8. He said it was amazing to him that we had a chance to finish 9-3 with all the injuries we have had. I am not sure that I agree with amazing, but I do respect his opinion. I do think his point is valid. I also blame all of the injuries on Catbone because he never thinks anyone will get hurt :)

Committee finally looked at some facts about Tennessee this week. 19 is about right. If no loss to USCe, top 10, but that's history.

I don't remember whose been saying it, but they said that the committee would start pumping Tennessee up if it looked like we might get to Atlanta so that we won't hurt Bama too much with our ranking. If Florida happens to win this weekend, they will soar way up the rankings.

There is tremendous truth here. They will set it up so if Bama were to play a mistake laden game and lose, they're still in top 4. Also, we need Bama undefeated going into that game or we have no chance with officiating.

I'm also rooting for Auburn. No matter how bad, they seem to give Bama a game. As appyvol said, we need chaos, like last week-- but VOLS have to keep winning.

It always has..when you lose has always been a big deal. Michigan lost to a suck team, they deserve to fall. Clemson lost to a suck team, they deserve to fall. Late losses, especially late losses to inferior teams, have almost always spelled doom. It should be that way, the season changes the complexion of teams. Sometimes injuries cause it, sometimes chemistry is disrupted by other things. The should be justly penalized for playing like pure crap against mediocre teams, just like we were.

I get annoyed at this because when we beat Appy State (who is now a winning team) we fell like a rock.

Hurts and Shea are good college QBs. They're not good pro QBs. Too small, weak arms.

Eason will be the #1 pick in the 2019 draft. I don't think he'll be a "great" pro QB but he does look the part (unlike Shea and Hurts who are undersized).

Being a great pro QB is about more than having the measuresbles (which Eason has). Its about having the right mental makeup (which I doubt Eason has).

Dobbs has the mental makeup to be a great pro QB. He's supremely confident but not cocky. He's a hard worker, extremely driven, and relentless. Those are the mental attributes you want in a QB.

You must not be watching Louisville lately. They could easily lose to Kentucky.

They disappear for entire games sometimes. Lucky for them they woke up in 4th quarter against Wake Forest or they would have been unranked this week.

Let's bet!!!
If Kentucky wins I won't post for 6 months. If Louisville doesn't win you won't post for three. 2 to 1 odds for you.

If you are sitting around trying to think of ways we are going to make the playoff you are setting yourself up for disappointment.

That's not being a Debbie downer or a brake pumper. That's a reality check.

This board argued with me when I said we were still very alive after the Bama game. Would of could of should of but we 100% would be in the hunt if USCe hadn't beat us.
