Election Results Thread

Really? I'm 41, and I've never seen this country so racially divided as I have the past 8 years with a black president. I had hopes Obama would be a good thing, but sending White House officials to criminals funerals, speaking out against anything against blacks, and never a word when it was white people. He divided us further than I've seen in my lifetime.
Your white oppression must be so hard

I have 3 college grad daughters that are in total despair this morning, they drank too much liberal kool aid. Xmas is gonna be a hoot this year, I bet. lol

The entire situation is disappointing. Fundamentally, Trump's campaign appeals to those who want to "Make America great again." This means we're not now, but were once before. For many of us, whether women, black, Muslim, gay, trans, disabled, etc., we're living in the best time now, and it's still not adequate. We hope for more. So, "make America great again," coming out of Trump and his supporters' mouths means those who've stood between us and the power and wealth they've enjoyed for so long, simple want to take it all back like the resentful, selfish little trolls they are.

Not true for the majority. For me, and I wasn't a fan of either, I'd like to have back an America that didn't friggin apologize to terrorists for killing Americans, or a president who didn't defend them every time they did. So if that's racist and sexist, color me guilty.

Son, only one party has held people of color back over the years and it doesn't start with an R.

Hey Grand, he caught the BIG car. Now what?

Now we see if he's good on his promises. And furthermore, if he can sell the idea of the term limits to the American people to get the corrupt incumbent politicians out of office.

That's one that I don't see getting out of the starting gate.
